Daily Trust gathered that the incident occurred on Wednesday morning when bandits simultaneously invaded the two communities, forcing the locals to flee.

Sources said the victims were crossing the river to Zumba and Gwada IDP camps through the boat.

Shehu Abubakar, a resident, told our that the boat was loaded beyond capacity, forcing it to capsize in the middle of water.

“Bandits invaded our communities this morning, and in an attempt to flee, some people drowned in Guni-Zumba river. Due to overloading, the boat capsized in the middle of the water. For now, we don’t know the number casualties because we have not been able to rescue anybody but I can tell you that over 20 people, including women and children, were involved.”

He decried lack of security presence in the area.

Michael Madaki, another resident, said, “Bandits attacked Guni community in Munya LGA of Niger State, the villagers trying to escape but their boat capsized.”

Despite all that's happening in that country, the stupid and useless illiterate will never come out to issue a statement or speak to his people about what is or are being done to address all the problem the nation faces. How Buhari this dull and becoming a president of a country that is supposed to be a great nation on earth still baffle me! Come to the USA here, day in and day out, Biden speaks to the nation he is leading whether through press statements or just answering journalists' questions as he walks around. Buhari is just a different course. Your country is in a war within itself and yet, no sign of leadership at all. Illiterate is really a disease!

It will not end well with Buhari. If it was somewhere in southern Nigeria now that all that is going on in the north are in the south, the illiterate will flex his skeleton muscle because they are not terrorist Muslims.

Dividends of democracy.

RIP!

Meanwhile, their kin and kith are bragging all over the place that an iyamiri will never be the President of Nigeria. That's their major priority.

Anyways, enjoy your presidency and all the enjoyment that comes with it.

The north should know that their enemies are right there with them in the north, they created poverty and hunger, now they have invited terrorists to come finish them.

Indigenous tribes of Niger state only:

Nupe, Gbagyi and Hausa, Koro, Kadara, Kambari, Kamuku, Pangu, Bassa, Bauchi, Dukawa, Gade, Godara, Ganagana, Dukawa, Mauchi, Ayadi, Ingwai, Dibo, Kadanda, Gulengi, Abishiwa and Shigini tribes.

For those who don't know, the North has far more tribes than we in the south. The notorious Fulani-Hausa attache concept cannot work onall of these tribes. They will try to displace as many, kill as many... especially the men. The women will be raped and a generation of half-breed Fulani will be born. It is these ones that will dilute a possible future revolt.

That is why the core Hausa states are in a serious mess. Also the reason why Ilorin people look aloof when matters of Yoruba is discussed. They seem confused. Very likely Fulanis will conquer the whole of the North. It may only take time but with the way things are going, they will. And if Nigeria manages to remain one for another generation extra, we in the south will be doomed!
