The catalyst from me was the murders by the government at Lekki Toll. I have lived in Lagos all my life, schooled till uni around the Yaba,Shomolu,Sabo and Akoka axis. The overpriced rent also and then the influx of northerners in the once pristine Osapa area. Everywhere in Lagos was just chaotic even Ikoyi is not spared.

The whole place is seriously overhyped.

You scramble for everything - space, fresh air, time, quiet, peace of mind.

I got my first major job in Lagos but had to leave when I was transferred by my company to another state. But seriously I must say I am living the good life here in Enugu. The amount I spent on house rent for a small apartment in Lagos, here in Enugu I presently live in a big 2 bedroom flat in a serene area at independence layout with the same amount. Seriously Lagos is damn overrated!
