Well, the right answer would have been "when he decides to leave his parents" after all the bible says a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife.

I believe she is trying to say she doesn't want a man who wants to be with her but still tied to his mom and dad's apron's examples are those who still lives in their parents house when they are suppose to be independent.
