If we all agree to stop buying oil from Russia so as not to fund the war, why would it now be OK to speed up the quantity we import before the deadline? Isn't that an indirect way of giving them more money in advance? You say you have no problem with them even buying a billion barrels a day, do you understand what that means? That means you want to give them the money they would have earned in a year or two or more, in less than a month.
