The Knowledge Gifts.

“For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;” 1 Corinthians 12:8

Today I will like to talk to you on the knowledge gifts. The knowledge gifts are called the revelation gifts. They include; the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge and the discerning of spirits.

The word of wisdom is the ability to perceive into the future and know God's plan and purpose concerning an individual, a family, a community, a nation, etc. The 'word of wisdom' as stated in our opening scripture carries with it the wisdom of God.

The word of wisdom is referring to a logos or a thought, it is a knowing and insight into God's plan. Having the word of wisdom is having God's counsel in your mouth. This grace is at work here in this commission.

The word of knowledge is insight into knowing something in someone's present or someone's past. Through the gift of the word of knowledge you can receive knowledge for any area of your life and be able to know what to do in any area of your life. This grace is also at work in this commission.

So as a member of this commission you can have the gift of the word of wisdom and the word of knowledge at work in your life.

Instruction.
Please read 1 Corinthians 12:8 and ask God to cause the revelation gifts to be at work in your life in their fullness.

Doing the Word.
Expect the word of wisdom and the word of knowledge to be at work in your life as you have need of them.
