El Elohe Yahshrael! As many may have come to realize and understand, God is a title and not a name. God, as a title, is used to refer to any object of worship. Whatever it is a person worships, be it stone, wood, water, air, fire, etc, can be referred to as a god to such a person. The "lord" is not a name. It is a title. It means, therefore, that when a person mentions or uses the title "god" he/she is not necessarily talking about the god his or her listener may have in mind. Nope! The things people worship have various demands they make of them. Some people engage in all kinds of sexual immorality in order to please their god. Some married people will never stop engaging in adultery because what they worship demands it of them. Some people, whether married or single, will always engage in homosexuality because their god wants it that way. When a person comes to you and says "god or the lord said", ask him or her to mention the name of the god he or she is talking about. After that, ask for the requirements of such a god. So, for those who may be interested, tell us the name of your god and what your god can do through you. Is your god the Creator of heaven and earth? If your God is the Creator of the heavens, the earth, the seas and everything in them, he should exercise influence over them. It is simple. The Creator of the heavens, the earth, the seas and everything in them does not hide himself. He has never hidden himself. Like our brother apostle Paul said: |

You both are right. But there’s nothing like “yhvh” it’s foreign in the Hebrew Bible, it’s “yhwh” elated177 Elohim and Yahweh are different. But Elohim is the father of Yahweh, so elohim na still papa.. but this elohim guy forgot that “EL” - is another “God” your God “EL elohim” is just a god under him. “Allah” too is gotten from this “EL”. You guys are worshipping the “gods” of the Middle East, it’s a shame. |
