Mystery of First fruits Part

That thou shalt take of the first of all the fruit of the earth, which thou shalt bring of thy land that the Lord thy God giveth thee, and shalt put it in a basket, and shalt go unto the place which the Lord thy God shall choose to place his name there. Deut 26:2

First fruit include giving out the best of farm produce, plantation and and animal products, first borns are also considered as the first fruit.
We saw Israelites bringing the first fruits of Corn, new wine, and wool Deut 18:4.

First fruit has a meaning and the meaning is beyond giving farm products, animals or animals products as seen under the old covenant. Or money as seen in the church now.

It existed before the law
And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering Gen 5:4

Under the law
A). First fruit became a command.
B). It is the best part or the finest part of that produce Exo 23:19, Num18:13
C). it belongs to the priest and his house hold Num 18:13
D). Unclean person will not eat from it Num 18:13.
E). It teaches people to put God first.
F). The first fruit is a portion that represent entire produce

Meaning
First fruit means
1, First Convert in a house or city Rom 16:5, 1 Cor 16:15
2, First born child or animal Deut 13:2
3, The nation Israel Jer 2:3, Exo 4:22
4, The Believers Rev 14:4
5, Jesus Christ 1 Cor 15:20
6. Farm products

Mystery
If the part of the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, then the whole batch is holy; if the root is holy, so are the branches. Rom 11:16
The part that was offered make every things holy, firstfruit is not referring to first salary or farm products under the new covenant, it refers to Jesus Christ. Jesus was that portion offered and he made us all holy. God is interested in the that portion offered and if that portion is holy then everything in the farm will be holy. Just like a seed Jesus died buried and resurrected becoming the first fruit of all those who have fallen asleep 1 Cor 15:20,

You that is reading this, do you know you can live as firstfruit? To be responsible in making others holy, do you know that God chosed Israelites so they can be the firstfruit "the portion that will be responsible in making the whole world holy before the coming of Jesus? Jer 2:3. And now he chosed you, he chose the church. James have a word for you
He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created. Jam 1:18
don't just give first fruit, Be the first fruit.

Mystery of First fruits part 2
Heb10:1 and Col 2:16-17 make us to understand that the feast /holidays Israelites observed in the old testament are not the realities, they are only shadow of what is to come and the reality is in Christ Jesus

Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holy day, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. Col 2;16-17

For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. Heb 10:1

First fruits is a shadow of what is to come and the reality is Christ Jesus, Jesus is our first fruits 1 Cor 15:20.
The first male child that open the womb is a first fruit and Jesus was her first born Child, He was the first to be born of GOD and the first to rised from the death and live forever, any other person that died and came back to life died again.

Isrealites celebrate many feast with include
1. Passover (Death of Jesus)- Jesus our passover Lamb
2. Feast of unleaved bread -life without sin- he took away our sins
3. Feast of first fruits -Jesus Resurrection
4. Feast of wave loaves (Pentacost) -coming of the HOLY GHOST
5. Feast of trumpets
6. Day of Atoment
7. Feast of Tabernacle.

Feast of first fruits
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be.come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest. And he shall wave the sheaf before the Lord, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it. (Lev 23:10-11).
The feast is to be celebrated a day after sabbath (Sunday).
What we called Easter Sunday is a feast of first fruits, and Jesus resurrected that day becoming our first fruit Hallelujah. And when you see first fruit then it means there will be harvest in no distance time, today we are that harvest. Hallelujah.

2. Any money � you give cheerfully is accepted, giving under compulsion don't attract blessings.
3. No scripture that say give money � as first fruit, it was farm produce and animals and lastly first born male child which you can redeem him.
4. If I didn't give money as first fruit am not cursed
5. First fruit teaches us to put God first in everything and putting God first is not all about money
6. True meaning of first fruit, in The resurrected Christ.
