If you watched the movie you will knw that Samuel ended up returning to his father,
like the prodigal son.

Although, I'm not totally comfortable with the way his father treated him while growing up; the movie painted his father as the "true pastor", it also showed Mawuli as the pastor that instead of falling for the pressure to make a business out of church activities, decided to stop being a pastor and return to being a regular member ,staying average/poor

For the records, there is aNigerian movie about Bokoharam that use the name of Allah to justify killing innocent people; that is even worse than the 'fake pastors' in this movie that see church as a business.

They didn't mock the Church except you didn't watch till the end. They exposed the rot in the Church and the foundation of the story is based on the "return of the prodigal son" to his father and the TRUE CHURCH

There are many movies out there that depicts extremist in Islam as terrorist. Go and watch movies like 24, etc
