I don't understand why we are like this.....There is no solution put forward by any government that Nigerians won't complain about but the truth is if this is how intelligent we are in this country, our leaders would have been the most intelligent leaders in the world.....

We are a bunch of emotion first, religion second ......but logic last group of people...The US provides two full combat ready jets to accompany air force one whenever the president needs to fly, that's a waste of resources but it's a very sensible strategy when you compare cost of life of a US president against the cost of jet fuel and for more than 30 years they have been doing this, have not heard that the jets or the air force one was ever attacked aerially

Truth is that its very difficult to secure things if someone is determined. You that you are chatting that I have never met before, if I am determined to kill you I will succeed. It's either the president son, daughter or any of the president's relation is on board that train. Why securing this very train now? With the level of insecurity occasioned by the ineptitude of the buhari's administration, common sense should have connected the relevant security agencies that someday there will surely be an attack on the train therefore, adequate security measures should have been put in place to forestall any eventuality. May the blood of all those that have died in this country as a result of insecurity which this administration and the previous administration couldn't contained haunt all these heartless and thieving leaders who in one way or the other are using their positions to oppress Nigerians

Just one grenade is more than enough for the chopper. Besides it difficult to control a chopper for combat. Helicopters are flying death trap that is always trying to kill you as you struggle continuously to get a good grasp on its controls. Why not have a security coach with good radar and drones on the strain. Besides this will only escalate the level damage as the degree of preparedness of the bandits will go a step further. Go after them and flush them do the needful. When the appropriate quarters are ready for business they should let Nigerians know.

it's only in Nigeria that people react to issues they know little or nothing about. clowns everywhere. a video of less than 10 seconds was taken and then looped to seem as if it was continuous. now idiots who don't even know how to wash their anus properly are commenting rubbish. first of all we don't know when this video was taken. secondly, even if it was accompanying the train, we don't know for what purpose. thirdly, we don't know if it was for security, if it was a commercial flight that decided to follow that route or if it was doing a security check up. all we know is that it was a 10 sec video of a train from an helicopter that was looped. you guys should stop reacting like tight ass bitches.

I think successive governments have failed the country, more so this current government, but this short term plan to protect people is a welcome development in my view.

No resource is too much for a government to deploy to ensure the safety of its citizens. I am very sure if this same act was done 'in the abroad' the same people condemning it would be full of praises.

We talk about adopting 'simple technologies to take care of this but fail to realize that the so-called simple technology may not be readily available. In the interim, whatever works is a welcome development.

The government, in the meantime, needs to improve on the current effort and address some of the criticism against this effort e.g. the fact that the chopper alone may not be an effective way to secure the trains.

Again, I commend the government for at least doing something. Better than seating on its hands and doing absolutely nothing.
