They can use jave phones from 13 yrs to 14 years. Android phones should be from 18 years. A girl using Android phone as early as 10 will be easy to manipulate and inducted. The Chrisland girl posted on her Instagram that nobody is clean that everybody stain is different. That is what she carried on her head that made her spread her legs for at an early age.

A child should have a phone provided he just gain admission (probably to his preferred course of study and institution) and his seriousness is satisfied, to avoid any distraction!

My strict policy in my family is that my children would not have smartphones or any internet enable phones until completion of their ssce.The computer is there for them for research or doing school assignments.This action, which appears like punishment for the children has really been very helpful for them to remain focus in their studies

From the age of 16 is ok but you must still make efforts to enlighten your Child on things they need to know

At 18years he or she is entitle to have anything acording to nigeria constitution! Below that the child do not have any right to do anything outside perant consent.

In my own opinion.children should be introduced to internet/computer as earlier as possible,as soon as they are grown enough to start elementary school to prepare them for digital world. Mobile phone should be absolutely restricted from their reach until when they are in final year in senior secondary school.
Their computer system (laptop, notepad, kindle) should be manually or automatically restricted from surfing all sites;leaving those that will be of help at their reach.and to strengthen this; their system history should be checked at interval without their awareness.
The most important aspect of making this work is relating with them in inculcating ethics of life into them.humanism morality liberty and the need for them to wait for each stage of life in utilizing the special lock, luxury and enjoyment that each stages posses.with this: they will be sophisticated in handling their career alongside with the benefits of computer world.just like i plan to let my beautiful daughter: Aisha start learning coding from primary school.we can catch them young without endangering their life and without depriving them of their childhood exploring.

@illicit, I agree with you 100% . Most kids using android phones,whilst in secondary school are not fooling anyone but themselves. They don't use their phones for academic purposes but to engage in fantastical adventures,like seemingly endless chats,pornography,and all other vacuous exercises in between.
