The cause of the fire is not known and firefighters were yet to arrive at the building located in old GRA in Makurdi as of press time.

The CBN building in Makurdi is located close to Government House and opposite the United Bank of Africa UBA Makurdi branch.

the fire fighter are yet to come blah blah,in a well working county are they not suppose to have a fire trunk and fire fighters in that place ??..they will not fund the fire fighters ,sometimes no disel and expect those guys to perform magic...when the building burn finish they will carry millions to rebuild,which they should have used less to do risk assement and prevention
