I always laugh at people who underestimate Buhari. Forget how people rate him, that guy commands humongous of influence in APC as today. He's not gonna push for consensus but anyone he supports will trash all of those aspirants in the poll. He has up to 15 apc governors who are very loyal to him, all he needs do is to call them and tell them his candidate and that's it. He did it in Chairmanship election, and he's gonna do it the primary election. El-Rufai and Ndume blatantly told seun on Channels TV that they were waiting for Buhari's signal and all of them would queue behind them. They adore and respect buhari so much, especially those governors in the north. Majority of them, if not all came to power due to Buhari's 2015 Tsunami. None of them could have won that seat if not because of Buhari's influence.

If Nigerians had critically studied the President the way he (the President) is alleged to be critically studying the aspirants, their attitudes, actions, backgrounds etc, we wouldn't be where we are today as a country. Buhari remains a mistake; a product of deceit for which we will not forget to recompense those responsible for this calamity when the time comes.

Very good analysis, some candidates feel with their money and contacts they can bamboozle and whittle down PMBs influence
I foresee a situation where PMB will bring the President while PGF will bring the VP. PMB's men in PGF will push for that at the end of the day, they will come up with a unity list

PMB's influence on the direction of voters cannot be negated.
As the national eader of the party any candidate he throws his weight behind will certainly have an edge.
He brought the chairman of the party, most members of PGF are his loyalists and are waiting for his direction
They may allow PMB to bring the president while they (PGF) will bring the VP.
This is not the issue of "anointing oil" is the reality, don't expect PMB to stand aloof without influencing who succeeds him.

Lol... The funniest thing is that some neophytes are saying that buhari would be neutral, like seriously ??
