I don't know why they don't want to resign. Anyone that doesn't resign should be disqualified. You can not eat your cake and have it.
will their resignation solve your problems? Or will it solve the huge mess and problems of this country?

We chase shadows all the time!

Our problems in Nigeria is not about resignation of an intending aspirants.

Economy is in a mess.
Power, no light.

He’s an elected official, not appointed. The law is talking about political appointees not those who were elected.

Is it about elective position or appointed position? Osinbajo is not appointed but elected. The law affect only the appointees

This is junk reportage....

The electoral act did not stipulate timeline for resignation, what the law say is that they should resign before the primary election.

They still have ample time, i believe they will do that on the week of the primary, if they are truly serious about contesting.

House of Assembly expression of interest forms would go for N500,000 while nomination form goes for N1.5m.

garfield1. How's your plan going with this?

Nah still PDP go hear wen, because their members won't have direct access to the coffers like they did until about 8 years ago no matter how you try to twist it...because IMO, whether APC wins or PDP wins, nah the masses go still suffer. Only some individuals can achieve some decent success, but both parties are enclaves of political robbers.

And yet total vote cast in a presidential election in Nigeria since 2011 has never gotten to 40 million....what does that tell you about the APC figure.

.what the need holding on to the position like their lives depends on it? If truly they want to represent peoples interest, they should make that a priority but it's just very obvious here that they only are about their own selfish interest
