God almighty will bless HORs and SENATE for the electoral act but lacuna is that the act is lopsided in that it would have covered wrongful substitution of candidates by parties and swaps from one position to the other.

As long as they have not purchased the forms, I don't think they should resign. Purchasing the forms and retaining their office is what can disqualify them.

My opinion though.

Amaechi seriously hopes he gets disqualified to save face. Dude knows he ain't going no where. So he will rather enjoy the remaining time in his ministeral tenure than go on a wild goose chase

In Normal climes, the President would have compelled or force them to resign. But since we don't have a president thats why you see a serving minister campaigning for election with public funds and nothing happens. Am sure history will never forget this President as the worst ever in the history of Nigeria. Even a woman would have performed better.

This tells you these guys dont really have ambition to serve, it is for self. One of the qualities of a leader is sacrifice but you see now they refuse to make sacrifice to resign. They should if truly they are NOT happy with condition of things and want to serve and save Nigeria. This should be an eye opener. They are self-seeking fakes

I recently discovered that Amaechi and some others not actually contesting. They're just trying to bully Tinubu or pave way for someone else. The price of their form also suggests this: in the sense that they'll use this medium to steal millions via the form's price tag. Watch!

Nah still PDP go hear wen, because their members won't have direct access to the coffers like they did until about 8 years ago no matter how you try to twist it...because IMO, whether APC wins or PDP wins, nah the masses go still suffer. Only some individuals can achieve some decent success, but both parties are enclaves of political robbers.

I think you have contradicted yourself somehow.
Like I said, the masses (not the politician who will now only have 'indirect' access to the coffers) will be the worst hit if power goes to the wrong hands for the next 8 years.
The difference between the above two groups of people is this;
The politician may not be able to live in extreme luxury, but will definitely be able to meet all his needs plus some wants. But majority of the masses will struggle to get a decent meal per day.
So, in your opinion, who dey hear wen? Lol

So indirectly you are saying the "right hands" are in PDP abi? grin

I will keep saying it, a party in Nigeria doesn't determine the achievements of an elected executive in office, individuals matter. But with the way things are unfolding, garbage politicians would win both parties primaries. So either way, the masses hears wen, and if APC outrigs the PDP, the latter's members remains in political oblivion for at least another 4 years or more.

Just so you know, every member of the society, irrespective of class, reaches a level where they feel and see themselves very wretched. So like every facet of life, the rich also cry about finances
