I didn't write up to that. I had to stop working for him for sometime after writing over 20,000 words for him. When I came back and asked for payment, he refused to pay.

You tried o for agreeing to that. What is the proof that he will even pay after writing 41k words?

When you hear tales, do you bother to ask for proof to judge if an event truly occured or if the tale bearer has false motives?

Are you aware that immediately I saw this guy the first day I asked him to provide list of works done, full names, phone number and bank details so I will verify if I skipped paying anyone and he refused to provide this?

Did you bother to ask him about this too?

Mehn are not supposed to be gossips, easily moved by sad tales disguised to defame and cause harm. Whenever you hear such tales always ask for proof. I.e screenshots of what happened between myself and him for example. Before you judge.

Learn to always ask for proof or ask for the second part of the story before you judge. Why not tell him to provide his invoice for works done and phone number so I can look up my chat log and pay him since I owe him

That is why you should not carry issues on your head you have zero knowledge about. The dude I recall but can't find his number to pin point the exact chat in order to share the screenshot was assigned a project and didn't get back almost a week after deadline. I got sacked and the client didn't need the material. He hastily sent it to me knowing the deadline had passed. I was angry and blocked him. Rather than own up to his faults and make improvements,he resulted to blackmailing me

Why don't you ask him to provide screenshots and phone number
