Igbo presidency: Stop accusing the north, you’re not sincere – Nwosu slams southern politicians A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo State, Uche Nwosu, has said that it was unfair for some southern politicians to accuse the north of trying to retain power while they have refused to support the southeast to produce the next president. According to Nwosu, such politicians are not sincere to themselves, insisting that it was actually the turn of the people of the southeast region to produce the next president of Nigeria. The former Imo State governorship aspirant said that those agitating for power shift to the south without supporting the southeast in 2023 are being unfair. Nwosu said it was double standard to deny the southeast, being the only zone which has never produced the country’s president, the opportunity to do so. The former governorship candidate spoke with select journalists in Abuja, Wednesday, where he insisted that the only way equity and justice can be truly served is for other zones in the South to support the Southeast. He said that anyone coming to equity must come with clean hands, adding that it was wrong “to be agitating for power shift to the south on the guise of equity and justice and when power moves to the south you no longer preach equity and justice, that is simply unfair.” He argued that “When our brothers from the South West or South-South come out to say they want to be President for equity and justice sake, they are simply not fair, there is no equity or justice in that. “The true equity and justice is to make sure that every zone in this country will have the opportunity to rule this country, that is the peace, that is the equity, that is the justice for me. “If you are accusing the North, that the North doesn’t want to release power to the South and you that have tasted power in the South, want to take power again, you’re not sincere.” https://dailypost.ng/2022/04/27/igbo-presidency-stop-accusing-the-north-youre-not-sincere-nwosu-slams-southern-politicians/ 5 Likes |

Let them give it to Osinbajo. Igbos should go and put their house in order and prepare to rewrite their carryover on political science. Then comeback after 16years, then they may pass. Stop hating and talking down on other tribes. Build bridges, lobby, form an alliance with the larger tribes. Umahi, Okorocha, Ngige, Orji Uzo Kalu tried to build bridges and form an alliance, yet they were called names. We feel too big to obtain voters card and vote in an election. On, election day, we sit back in the house with our friends, watching movies and browsing with our phones. But towards the evening when the results starts pouring. We start screaming marginalisation, rigging when we refused to participate in the electoral process. Who do us this thing, do us strong thing. But na we do oursef. 9 Likes 1 Share |

I disagree with Uche Nwosu. Igbos are not interested in the presidency. Yesterday, Uchenna was explaining to me how he will be earning $500k daily at Tincan in Lagos if Buhari gives lamidi kwanu his biafuro. He brought out one document which Trump had signed for lamidi kwanu before he left office. I never knew Trump's signature is very complex until I saw the document with Uchenna. In the document, every igbo in Lagos must be earning at least $350k daily. According to Uchenna, lamidi kwanu made it clear that 1 biafuro pound will be exchanged for N780k and every biafran will be earning at least 500k biafuro pounds every month. He added that lamidi kwanu said Boris Johnson will make a policy such that only biafrans will be allowed to use MMIA in Lagos and NAIA Abuja for departure and arrival. So Uche Nwosu should stop deceiving himself.  2 Likes |

ThinkSmarter: Most of you yorubas wear insincerity like cloth! What happened in 1999 when you all demonized Obasanjo and called him names simply because he allowed Shagari, a fulani man to succeed him in 1979 instead of Awolowo? Did it stop Obasanjo from becoming president? Did it not make other Nigerians to vote for him instead of your choice, Olu Falae? So why not vote for Umahi, Orji Kalu or Rochas since according to you Igbos called them names and don't want them? Presidency will never be zoned to Igbo villages. Igbos should bring out their consensus candidate and mobilize for him. Obasanjo contested against Alex Ekwueme, Emeka Ojukwu and some other riffraffs like that and defeated them all. Igbos too should be prepared to face Tinubu, Judas Osinbajo and other nonentities like Fayemi, Amosun, e.t.c. Nobody will zone the Presidency to Igbo villages. The Igbos that j grew up with are brave and courageous, and are ready to confront anybody. These Igbo politicians of today who are scared of Tinubu, Osinbajo, Fayemi, Amosun and other clowns, definitely, these are not true Igbos. 2023 Presidency is for Igbos, but they must fight for it, just as Yorubas fought and got the Presidency in 1999 and 2003 and got the VP in 2015. Power is not given as a free gift, power is fought for and snatched. |

It gathered momentum like wild fire beyond my imagination making anti-Igbo southerners wail and cry. He who comes to equity must come with clean hands. Ndigbo have to stop being fooled. We have voted SW president, voted SS president. If they cannot vote SE, then we must ensure it remains North, let the 'majority' become absolute. Zoning means 'turn by turn'.
