Alot of people has been saying this for long. The insecurity in this country is so much for our families and children to start traveling far away from us.

Please what do you think about scrapping NYSC. I've seen alot of missing NYSC members over the years and nothing is happening as E Neva touch everybody family .

Scrapping the nysc is long overdue. Nigeria has never being this divided along tribal line. It's better to scrap it now than to endanger the lives of our youths serving in unknown and unfriendly territories

People die everyday. Which one is NYSC again. The whole country isn't safe. Stop blaming NYSC for Nigeria's insecurity. Blame her people and her leaders. After all it is people that are committing this crime and not aliens.

The idea of going far-way to serve in another state is no longer feasible or safe due to the insecurity in the country especially the northern parts and other regions.

Nysc Corp members should be allowed to serve in there various states of origin were they are familiar with there environments, this would reduce the risk of far travels on the main roads ( northern roads are not even safe I.e Kaduna/abuja road), and also going to states were insecurities abound.

Or better still the whole thing(Nysc) can be scrapped and let government make the money expected to be made in a year from the nysc scheme be packaged and given to every graduate upon graduation from schools, at least the can use it to invest and start up business and be self employed if the so choose.

Yes love, it should be scraped the essence and reasons for creating it is no longer necessary/ relevant, as the country is becoming unbearable, intolerant and evil.

Many corpers are killed either by accidents, kidnappers, unknown gunmen, skull miners all in the name of serving a worthless country

Or better still dey should make it optional and not compulsory, since some greedy youths are enticed by the little stipends, common 55dollars

It 100% should be scrapped of what use is serving a hopeless Nigeria.

It shouldn't only be scrapped. Everyone who served should be compensated.
