I don’t know why most of our countrymen are so gullible. Even after we made a mistake of voting a liar and a thief who swindled us all by giving us false hopes of a better Nigeria, we still want to repeat the same mistake again. What good has come out of this present administration if not lies and deception. The corruption that was promised to be controlled became a norm, to the extent they want to sell the presidential nomination form for a whooping hundred million naira! Why won’t they? When almost all the politicians in the party are all well known embezzlers who have been pardoned just because they joined the party of crime. Please people let’s not turn a blind eye to the reality of the situation in the country. Killings, death, and kidnappings have become a normal thing in Nigeria ever since we voted that liar to power. One can’t wake up without seeing graphic or gory images of the dead everyday on the news. Inflation is at its peak. There is no hope and nothing seems to be working for the common man. People keep on suiciding here and there because of hardship and the suffering. Please let’s give another set of people chance to try to change this country. Buhari and his cohorts have sold this nation to the highest bidder. The loans that have been collected in the past 7 years in the name of Nigeria cannot even be paid for by the next 10 generations who know nothing about what it was even used for. Talking about Nigeria’s problems is an endless venture.., and the leaders are doing nothing to stop it but look for dubious means to extort the nation. Please let’s be wise coming 2023, let’s leave our egos, religion and tribalism aside and do the needful for the betterment of our nation. |

A bunch of old fools! When Mazi Kanu was telling them they're barking up the wrong tree with this their 'one Nigeria' stand, they must have thought 'what is this young man yapping...he should go and sit down when 'wise' elders are talking'! By the time yet another Fulani or Yoruba becomes president in 'one Nigeria' next year (with the usual accusation that Igbos' don't know how to play politics ), probably that's when the scales will fall from their eyes and they'll finally see the handwriting on the wall and see Nigeria for what it really is! 1 Like 1 Share |

Ibos don't vote in elections, their Region produces the lowest voter turnout and they want to be president, which party is ready to take that risk?, their states will be producing thousands of votes while their counterparts in other regions are giving out millions of votes, go and check out Anambra state governorship election and you will see how useless they are when it comes to electons 5 Likes 1 Share |

From onset, the zoning formular has never worked in picking any presidential candidate of any political party in Nigeria since 1999, instead, each aspirant fought their way through the best means they have, in order to become the party's flag bearer ..so, ohaneze should assist Peter Obi to canvas the decision makers (Delegates), so that he can pull more votes, rather than thinking it'll get to igbo's turn on a platter of gold.. Obasanjo didn't find it easy in 1999; Yaradua was not just handed the power without scaling through huddles ; power was not just transferred to Jonathan without winning some battles and as we all know, Buhari got to the position after contesting severally.. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Yeebos are the most confused liars in the world. They keep speaking from both sides of the mouth. 1) Their brand of politics is ridiculous if not downright hilarious. They want to blackmail and threaten Nigerians into handing over power to them. 2) They hate Nigeria and want Biafra but also want to rule Nigeria. No be juju be that? 3) They hate quoter system but want Nigerians to zone presidency to SE 4) They want us to vote in one of the most currupt and bigoted politician in Nigeria's history as president. This man is known as Kleptomania Peter Obi-tuary. 4) How are they going to convince northerners to vote in a bigoted kleptomania Peter Obi-tuary who was deporting northerners out of Anambra 7 Likes 1 Share |

Igbos should try all means to first strengthen their regional party (APGA), so that they can always use it as strong weapon at the national level... CPC was strong in the north and they merged together with the ACN, and some few PDP decampees and that made them formidable force to recon with. 2 Likes |

Odin13: Honestly, The Igbos are only good at trading with a very high Degree of Business acumen and Success rate. But Instead of them to capitalize on that and translate same Vision and prowess to Politics-mba! they rather shot themselves in the foot by 1. Associating themselves with Political and National miscreants in the name of SECESSIONIST AGENDA 2. Once there is a window of opportunities for the SOUTHERN NIGERIA to produce a presidential candidate, All "Gbogbo Nishe" Politicians in their region would come out wanting to contest 3. The Truth is that, Only a few that grew up in the North that have Political relevance in the North and so, winning a presidential election would be herculean of a task 4. Rather than build on the legacies of Dr Azikiwe, They rather tallied with the intentions and antecedence of Nigeria's Civil War Engineer 5. Remember Azikiwe Himself was Born and brought up in the NORTH-Niger state and Rochas Okorocha is probably the "only" one that can be acceptable in the North 6. They are fond of bastardizing of the image of other regions both in terms of Educational achievement, exposure and business Success 7. South East are fond of POLITICAL BOYCOTT OR APARTHY In summary, No Political party would agree to field a candidate that would already tag the party a loser even before the election begins Not WHEN AN OPPOSITION PARTY IS TRYING TO RECLAIM THE PRESIDENCY and this is exactly what will yet again be EXPERIENCED in future should PDP wins in 2023 with any candidate outside of SOUTH EAST & SOUTH SOUTH (GEJ was only lucky because of the Death of YAR'ADUA though else we saw what happened in 2015 vs BUHARI) My conclusion THE NORTH HAS THE POPULATION both in terms of Human numbers and the number of REGISTERED VOTERS. And above All, The General public, the Educated Elites and Business moguls that abound in Nigeria and MOSTLY FOUND in the SOUTH don't grace polling locations to cast VOTES except in the NORTH 4 Likes 2 Shares |

GeneralPula: Its not about making any moves. How many moves did obasanjo make to become president, or Yar adua or Jonathan? The fact is that PDP is a political party with the intent of winning an election, and 2023 could see them easily return to power because of APCs woeful outing for 8years and Buhari no being on the ballots. Zoning to the South East is too risky for them. Peter obi is by far the best candidate in this election season but the best candidates don't win elections in Nigeria. While peter obi will easily win elections in southern Nigeria and perhaps Benue, Plateau and Taraba, he will loose landslide in the remaining Northern states because he is igbo. The North still has the major voting strength in Nigeria, and whoever they support needs just little from the other regions to clinch the presidency. in all sincerity of intents, if you were a PDP leader what will you do? |
