Some (not all) Ikweres may deny Igbo identity due to selfish polical reasons but they're part and parcel, and extension of the Igbo race.

I remembered vividly when she was being interviewed,
The interviewer said that people normally think that she (monalisa) is biracial, ie her mother being a white woman while her father from Nigeria.
She told the interviewer that both parents of hers are IGBOS.
