Yes met the requirements for natutalisation but he was denied last time he did. If he becomes a citizen he can contest.

Went to school in Nigeria before going abroad for university.

After university, organised for the company he worked for to send him back to Nigeria, like many other Nigerians do.

Has worked majority of his life in Nigeria.

He set up all of his business interests after becoming self-employed in Nigeria.

He is well-known by all the top professionals in Nigeria working on the island.

Actually, when I saw the title on the Front Page, in my mind I said "That must be Wiebe" before I even clicked on it.

So never call him Dutch again except you say Dutch-Nigerian.
