It happened to me. I called Customer Service. I was told to pay $150 for access. I didn't.

It is expecting your Windows account sign in, while you are login in with your offline password.

You need to connect to Internet and login with your Windows account. Or just connect to Internet at point page and try your password. But you should know if you had created Windows account profile before on the system.

Use power button to off and on it 3 times in quick successions once the window logo come up. Once you've done that it will take you to save mode

You can also use your Windows installation media, to 'upgrade' your windows, and not format.........

Reload your system to window.old, this way you still have your old files intact . The services that support signon is not started. Is either set to manual. Is supposed to be in automatic. Try and get to safe mode whether you can start it manually if not reload to .old is your best bet.

Check, it might be that the caps lock is on.

Most often, password issues are caused by bad keyboard or cap lock as earlier suggested by a user. Try to count the character as you type to confirm that none of the keys get stuck.

Use the windows 10 cd to do system recovery. Thats all
