What is being done about it? I was hoping someone would enlighten me a bit more about it. I know it is the reason for numerous annuled marriages, not being able to get a job etc etc - but can someone explain to me what is really is, why it still exists in Nigeria, and if anything is being done about this outright discrimination in the Ibo culture. Please I'm not attempting to start a flame war or arguments - just looking to understand more about this aspect of our culture, and see what can be done to put an end to this barbaric practice. Thanks. |
