Its only in Igbo land that you will hear the phrase "autonomous community".

In every useless village that they now declare as a kingdom complete with a fake King, you must find one or several autonomous communities.

I prodded further on what is behind this crase called "autonomous community" and found out that in all their fake kingdoms which is basically a village of not more than 20 square kilometers, disputes led to hamlets seceding from their fake kingdom .

These disputes range from land disputes, to squabbles on who to occupy the useless throne to even issues relating to women among the useless king and his equally useless chief over widows.

It was Gowon that encouraged and elevated village heads to the level of other traditional authorities outside Igbo land so as to have a form of indirect control over the OSU populace .

Now their nollywoid will not let us rest with all their cringe royalty fantasy films on a nonexisting Igbo royal blood line.

The Igbo is in constant war with himself .

They have no loyalty to a greater Igbo body

They have no loyalty to their state

No loyalty to their Local Govt

No loyalty to their village

No loyalty to their hamlet

No single loyalty to their extended family

It is only their personal selves they serve.

They are doing Biafra or death struggle even in their village .

The only way to unify the igbos is either via an external force colonizer (which Colonialism and post 1966 Nigeria did) or under a brutal tyrannical Igbo authority like what we saw in Ojukwu's Biafra and present day Igbo states were their governors act like tin gods and forgot they were elected under civilian democratic process.

Tyranny is the only language the Igbo understands and so that is why their supreme leader still holds much sway from the dank cells of DSS.

Igbo is republican by nature. Traditionally their government is democratic & republican-akin to what prevailed in ancient Rome. That's why the euphism Igbo enweze. Now people over the years introduced kingship which is alien to Igboman from different cultures.
This Kingship and everyother undemocratic means of governance, will always run contrary to Igboness. Return republicanism to Igbo and see them flourish beyond imagination.

Who are you demanding the bolded from?

Igbo tier monarchy is here to stay because they get stipends from the federal and state purse.

Also, I don't know why you igbos are fond of comparing yourselves to the Great Greek City states.

At best, Igbos not having a king wasn't a declaration of equality among noble freemen but rather a slave state that formed and rejected kings to rule over them out of their bitter history of enslavement under the Awusa kings that migrated with their Igbo slaves (Hebrew) from Egypt.

The igbos got to these parts of the world when they accompanied the expelled black Pharaohs of Egypt as their slaves. These black pharaohs were the ones who founded the once thriving Awusa kingdoms. By either the magnanimity of the Awusa overlords granting them freedom or runaway slaves ,the igbos will later settle down in the present SE Nigeria .

A vassal slave region is not allowed to produce a king for itself.

The Igbo lived under the shadows of their powerful neighbours in the form of the Oba of Bini kingdom and the Igala of Idah kingdom

This is the only reason they were not allowed kings to rule themselves and not some bs republican form of govt.

We are waiting after the elections to mock the baba wey no well about how he was used and dumped. The shame would be televised.
