Crayfish09:Bandits are not atheists. Bandits are Muslims and they also believe they are fighting a jihad. There was a video recently where they were shouting Allahu Akbar while raiding a town Which defensive war did Muhammad fight? That's a lie. He was the aggressor. Everyone always looks to justify themselves in a war |

1 Samuel 15:3 - “Go and attack the Amalekites! Destroy them and all their possessions. Don't have any pity. Kill their men, women, children, and even their babies. Slaughter there sheeps ... Jeremiah 18:21 Therefore, give their children over to famine And deliver them up to the power of the sword; And let their wives become childless and widowed. Let their men also be smitten to death, Their young men struck down by the sword in battle. Leviticus 20:27 “A man or a woman who is a medium or a necromancer shall surely be put to death. They shall be stoned with stones; their blood shall be upon them.” 2 Kings 10:25 Then it came about, as soon as he had finished offering the burnt offering, that Jehu said to the guard and to the royal officers, “Go in, kill them; let none come out.” And they killed them with the edge of the sword; and the guard and the royal officers threw them out, and went to the inner room of the house of Baal. Leviticus 26:7-9 7 And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword. 8 And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword. 9 For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you. Leviticus 20:9 For anyone who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death; he has cursed his father or his mother; his blood is upon him. THIS VERSE IS TALKING ABOUT INFIDELITY PEOPLE SHOULD BE STONE TO DEATH...YOU SEE THE STONE OF SOMEONE TO DEATH STARTED EVEN BEFORE THE PEOPLE OF MECCA.. Deuteronomy 22:20-21 But if the thing is true, that evidence of virginity was not found in the young woman, then they shall bring out the young woman to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her to death with stones, because she has done an outrageous thing in Israel by whoring in her father's house. So you shall purge the evil from your midst. FOR A FURTHER TORRY READ FULL VERSE OF Numbers 31 |

Tafheem ul Quran Surah 5 Al-Ma'idah, Ayat 33-34 اِنَّمَا جَزٰٓؤُا الَّذِيۡنَ يُحَارِبُوۡنَ اللّٰهَ وَرَسُوۡلَهٗ وَيَسۡعَوۡنَ فِى الۡاَرۡضِ فَسَادًا اَنۡ يُّقَتَّلُوۡۤا اَوۡ يُصَلَّبُوۡۤا اَوۡ تُقَطَّعَ اَيۡدِيۡهِمۡ وَاَرۡجُلُهُمۡ مِّنۡ خِلَافٍ اَوۡ يُنۡفَوۡا مِنَ الۡاَرۡضِؕ ذٰ لِكَ لَهُمۡ خِزۡىٌ فِى الدُّنۡيَا وَ لَهُمۡ فِى الۡاٰخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيۡمٌ ۙ ﴿5:33﴾ اِلَّا الَّذِيۡنَ تَابُوۡا مِنۡ قَبۡلِ اَنۡ تَقۡدِرُوۡا عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ فَاعۡلَمُوۡۤا اَنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِيۡمٌ ﴿5:34﴾ (5:33) Those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger, and go about the earth spreading mischief -indeed their recompense is that they either be done to death, or be crucified, or have their hands and feet cut off from the opposite sides or be banished from the land. Such shall be their degradation in this world; and a mighty chastisement lies in store for them in the World to Come (5:34) except for those who repent before you have overpowered them. Know well that Allah is All-Forgiving, All-Compassionate.57 Notes 55. The 'land' signifies either the country or territory wherein the responsibility of establishing law and order has been undertaken by an Islamic state. The expression 'to wage war against Allah and His Messenger' denotes war against the righteous order established by the Islamic state. It is God's purpose, and it is for this very purpose that God sent His Messengers, that a righteous order of life be established on earth; an order that would provide peace and security to everything found on earth; an order under whose benign shadow humanity would be able to attain its perfection; an order under which the resources of the earth would be exploited in a manner conducive to man's progress and prosperity rather than to his ruin and destruction. If anyone tried to disrupt such an order, whether on a limited scale by committing murder and destruction and robbery and brigandry or on a large scale by attempting to overthrow that order and establish some unrighteous order instead, he would in fact be guilty of waging war against God and His Messenger. All this is not unlike the situation where someone tries to overthrow the established government in a country. Such a person will be convicted of 'waging war against the state' even though his actual action may have been directed against an ordinary policeman in some remote part of the country, and irrespective of how remote the sovereign himself is from him. 56. These penalties are mentioned here in brief merely to serve as guidelines to either judges or rulers so they may punish each criminal in accordance with the nature of his crime. The real purpose is to indicate that for any of those who live in the Islamic realm to attempt to overthrow the Islamic order is the worst kind of crime, for which any of the highly severe punishments may be imposed. 57. If they give up subversion and abandon their endeavour to disrupt or overthrow the righteous order, and their subsequent conduct shows that they have indeed become peace-loving, law-abiding citizens of good character, they need not be subjected to the punishments mentioned here even if any of their former crimes against the state should come to light. If their crime involves violation of the rights of other men they may not be absolved from their guilt. If, for instance, they have either killed a person, seized someone's property or committed any other crime against human life or property they will be tried according to the criminal law of Islam. They will not, however, be accused of either rebellion and high treason or of waging war against God and His Messenger. The above is the correct explanation for the verse. The Ops is ignorant about the Qur'an |

Yeah I agree with your expert opinion on this,I am a Muslim and I die as one,but frankly Muslims worldwide have found it hard to evolve from the centuries of our prophet ((PBUH)an era that was hostile and jungle-like in the affairs of religion, politics, culture and social experiment..and only violence could begets violence in such logical periods,,it's a pity many Muslims and scholars of heritage have continued with these cavemen preaching and mentality, just like you said christains used to be worst in it's first inception to the world,,this generation of christains who don't know anything about their heritage should also know that millions of lives have been lost (burnt, beheaded,etc..) just for not proclaiming Jesus as their Lord and personal savior.."All facts"..but the christains learned to move on to the new world.. while the Muslims were left behind too colonized to balanced most of our outdated doctines,,even the messenger (PBUH) would have wanted it better.,the Muslims under the prophet went to war back then because there were the invalids, the openly oppressed, marginalized and even killed like a normal thing, Jesus learned to turn the other cheek which is a good teaching for the right occasion, Muhammad had to ask permission from God to defend the religion which is logically right for those thinking you don't have to do anything and God will do anything,"think again", also, thinking Islam has always been motivated by violence:Note: Muhammad had only 300 men for his first battle against 10,000 men from Makkah (all facts),, would bloodthirstiness and violence motivate you to such a battle?it's that not a death wish?they(Muslims) were on the run and in hideouts just to get by everyday,so God sending Muhammad to those battle with 300 men still shows (unlike Jesus)he wanted them to also make effrots in defending themselves even when he(God) knew he would still be the one to do it.. that battle for freedom was won and over, Islam is accepted in the society thanks to the prophet though we only won the battle but the war was never over,,it switched, intellectual warfare is the new world war and Muslims and it's scholars should vest up, extremists should dump the cavemen ways and clap back with knowledge..if someone insults your religion or prophet, you have to learn how to rebuttal (i.e know how to say the right things that can salvage the situation) don't feel oppressed and open the zoo because of that.. Islam is and will always be for peace and it had fought it's battle for peace and won,so over a billion Muslims you can never stop Islam) you can bash thses gullible Muslims but Islam is as pure as fresh air; moral of the story- the spirituality, the political structure and socio-cultural aspects and behavior of a religion (Islam,christainity..)are totally apart.as a Muslim, Islam struggles in all except spirituality which is the real peace we talk about.. mariovito: |

Thanks for your unbiased and objective view. A lot needs to be done, starting from Saudi Arabia since it's the headquarters. Less emphasis needs to be placed on the violent parts of the Al-Quran and the parts that dwell on peace should be preached more. The Bible also has very violent verses and chapters and books that preach death to non-believers but you'll hardly hear christian preachers dwelling on them these days. Matter of fact, many christians will be surprised to find that those verses are in the Bible because preachers down play them. At the time these religions came on board, violence, not just religious violence, was common place as modern society had not fully taken shape, so it won't be totally out of place if some vestiges of violence found their way into the scripts of these religions. But those times have passed. I hope Islam makes that paradigm shift. Doesn't it amaze you that almost any violent group can base their ideology on the Al-Quran? And from my understanding, most of Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) were defensive wars and even in some verses he preached peaceful coexistence. As I conclude, this is in a different vein, can you explain to me the idea of Taqiyyah? OGcartel: |

Indeed you are a priceless seeker of knowledge, not to those who don't research on trivial matters but jump to judge the headline..as for taqiyyah,,it's simply a situation where you have to lie to safe your life even if it's denying your religion which was the important for the ancient Muslims as regards the dehumanization they faced back then which is not really necessary these days..it only came as one of the moral teaching of the prophet as it's not one of the things your religion spirituality can't tell you.. spirituality only deals with your holy and divine life which reminds you about God but morals and teaching (the prophet's Hadith)vary a lot because of the complications of human lives.the prophet taught to the best of his knowledge on how we go about with our lives and he also made it compulsory to seek for knowledge even if it's as far as China thus meaning he knew no one is an island.. for example when it's comes to dressing,he taught us to be as decent as possible especially the female,he made it known to the female that when you expose your body, your guardian angel leaves you and the devil takes over which is very logical, when a lady dresses half or fully naked, the devlish things comes to the minds of the men that sees it and no matter how strong or holy you are as a man, you won't be able to control not wanting to see or touch what you are seeing, this devil influences the minds of rapists..so the teachings only told us to dress decent as much so as to prevent these devlish things, and note the prophet didn't prescribe any dress code in his teachings or the holy book contratry to the general way Muslims represent with their dressing,it was a style inherited from the Arab culture of dressing tho it's ticks the box of decency but times have evolved in culture and technology and decency are still achieved in other types of dressing other than the Arab style..back to taqiyyah,it's even permissible in the court of law to way anything under duress to save your life,so it's more logical than relating it to religion in a complicated way..I hope this answers your question mariovito: |
