He is only trying to defend the indefensible. Did APC stop him from contesting the presidency? The handwriting on the wall shows it will be zoned to the south . But he's admitted defeat and stepped down for a Northerner and still blaming the south for not zoning it to southeast. This is childish tantrum and he should have outgrown it.
I believe he's smarter than this just playing on sentiments from the people.
