The British government knows the boundaries of Every people however don't know the boundaries of Oduduwa, Arewa and Biafra, if Nigeria divides, Igala, Benin, Lagos, Opobo, Bonny, Calabar, Oyo, etc. Have more chances to be city states than Biafran, Oduduwa and Arewa being independent, those boundaries are Artificial unless however the Igbos chose to unite as a people, the Yorubas do same, put more explicitly it would be hard to get independence through UN
UN is not a Boys Scout organisation. They have more experience about such issues and have handled scores of such cases successfully. The rest of what you're typing can easily be sorted out by referendum. Clearly, you don't know the criteria surrounding the formation of new countries. Of all those places you mentioned, only Benin stands the chance to stand alone. The rest will have make do with choosing which neighbouring country they will align to.

Don't be an Atheist. Only God can do it in His own Time and Way.

I'm not interested in hide and seek game. Africa and every other weak state must abide by the operations of UN else they will face heavy repercussions both in sanctions and military intervention. Russia is currently facing the worst sanctions in history but no military intervention for obvious reasons.
A peaceful division of Nigeria is possible although less feasible. Either way it happens, it remains the best option if it happens earlier else we will have to witness millions die and tens of millions put in precarious situation before doing it.
