I think that Nnamdi Kanu should be released for the following reasons: 1)Self determination is not a crime and is recognised by the African and UN charters as well as the laws of Nigeria 2)In recognition of the hundreds, if not thousands of peaceful, unarmed and non violent IPOB members murdered by the Nigerian security forces between 2015 to 2020 3) For the brutal and illegal military invasion of Nnamdi Kanu's house by the Nigerian Army in 2017 for the purpose of killing him 4) For the state sponsored kidnapp, illegal detention and extraordinarily rendition of Nnamdi Kanu from Kenya to Nigeria 5) Nnamdi Kanu has been arraigned in court since 2015. To this day, the federal government has not been able to open their case against him. All they do is incessant amendment. Seven times they have amended Kanu's charges but still cannot open their case against him. This indicates that the Federal government has no case against Kanu 6) Of the seven count charge against Kanu, 5 are all about what he said on social media in another country, one is about being the leader of proscribed IPOB, a matter pending before the court of appeal. The last charge is about importing a Radio transmitter, something that is not even a crime. Nnamdi is not charged for killing anyone or destroying anyones property. Why is IPOB and Kanu not taking their matters to international community again?
