There's a software used to add active people in a group to another group.

Like, once you're online or your account isn't dormant, the software will add you to another group they want you to be part of.

I know this because I did this sometime last year but i don stop shaa.

Its very frustrating, I had this issue on my WhatsApp, I keep getting deactivated from WhatsApp, by the time I send an email and I get reactivated after like a week, I'll see chats I didn't initiate to different contacts and groups I didn't join. After battling with these hackers for months, I changed my WhatsApp number, changed my phone and installed the later WhatsApp update. That solved the problem, I realized the phone was susceptible to being hacked. After the issue was solved, I changed number back to the initial one.
Also had the issue on Facebook, was added to over a hundred Chinese group, I changed my posts password, added more privacy and voila, it solve it.
I hope this helps you fight these guys because they are getting more and more creative every day.

Yes they are. Though they don’t send pictures there. They just make an offer as mildly as possible. I guess interested parties would take it off the platform. On Upwork, they disguise as genuine recruiters. It is during the Zoom interview you would know what you are up against.
