There's no compromised judiciary Oga. It simply means his team are quack. Let him up his game by equipping his legal team with the best hands for the job.

Efcc handles 98% of criminal case's without making proper investigation and not having enough evidence against the suspects. I don't know how word of the mouth is enough to convince the judge.

Oga go read law, you no gree. Why una no go dey lose case for technicality ground.

You're always too forward and exuberant to fight corruption, thereby spoilt some cases, because you always think that you and the judiciary represent the government, hence must win in every matter.
This is a most nonsensical comment! You don't know the difference between a lawyer and a judge. Shame on you!

Judiciary is one of the main problems of this nation, sadly citizens don't protest the ills in that arm of Government. I have witnessed obvious corruption cases being dismissed under "technical" ground. Why won't the looters be emboldened if they have discovered a gap to wriggle through.

You have mixed it up. Losing a case to technical ground has nothing to do with the gathering of evidence. I doubt you have ever stepped into a court room to witness how cases are adjudicated in real life, apart from you watching on Nollywood. Give Efcc credit, winning a case against high profile looters is not an easy task.

EFCC should Borrow Leaf From their western counterpart The FBI. Gather enough intelligence and Evidence. Look at them yourself and know the sentence for each charge before you do your arrest and go to Court.

We all saw what's happening on the Kyari case, the NDLEA have enough evidence to put him away for a very long time.

80% Intelligence & Evidence and 20% Arrest & Prosecution

No compromised judiciary with reference to Mr. Bawa's complaint. Most of EFCC"s in-house lawyers needs to be upgraded.
Re: Abdulrasheed Bawa Laments Corruption Cases Lost To Technical Grounds by Pennywise(m): 8:04am On May 24, 2022
EFCC will receive petition, investigate, collect bribe from the accused and then go to court to undermine its own case by flouting technical provisions.

Meanwhile the petition writer who wants a better state and country would have been compromised. All for nothing

You are right, it goes beyond evidence but evidence is a critical part of it. EFCC bungles their cases most of the due to inexperience of their legal team. When they are contending against a SAN, why can't they farm out the case to another SAN instead of using in-house lawyer.

Technicalities such as pardons for those two 60 something y/o convicts I guess.
Or technicalities like the one allowing a vocal terrorist collect the sensitive data of 200 million Nigerians as NIN or the one that allows young men to be paraded in singlet but mega suspects like accountant general to be escorted like a king.
Re: Abdulrasheed Bawa Laments Corruption Cases Lost To Technical Grounds by einsteine(m): 10:02am On May 24, 2022
Efcc does investigation AFTER arrest. Why won't they lose cases? Also, the operatives are basically "entrepreneurs" trying to make money from suspects, so where is the will to win cases? The reason the FBI has a 93% conviction rate is because they only go for 1) the most significant and clear cases of crime and 2) cases that have been thoroughly investigated with proper evidence obtained.

Idiot, Instead of securing a water tight case that the judge won't even have choice than to convict, they will go and arrest someone with out enough evidence thereby making the job harder to do, the suspected person sef go don Sabi say Dem don dey monitor am but no substantial evidence to convict him, all the suspect has to do is cover his tracks naso he go free for life

Corrupt Agency!
EFCC, CBN, ICPC, etc. and every sector of this country is currupt!
Judiciary is the worst because it's controlled by the body language of the executive and stakeholders especially for high profile cases!

I have never had confidence on judicial process about any case. A smart lawyer can defend your case even when you know deep within that you committed the crime. But bring the matter to our shrine justice will be served in 7days
