About $1bn (156bn Naira) is to be expended in the development of the Abuja World trade Center which will comprise a twin 37 storey building structure.

The first phase which is already at the foundation level will be completed in 2013.

The building project is being funded through Public Private Partnership (PPP) with development funds being sourced through external borrowing from International development Banks.

ROFL!!!!

Every time I see PPP, I get on edge, wondering how much of our money is really being used. So far, many of the so-called P.P.P projects are least 50% funded by the government at the end of the day. grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

Whenever I drive past this site/project, it gives me immense Joy. May Nigeria know peace and not war. Upon completion this view will be one of the marvels of Nigeria and Africa at large.
