fingers crossed we are hoping to sell at least not less than #5-6k per bag I will be happy, cucumbers are a bit scarce now,we planted 2000 crops in 1000 sacks,targeting a yield of 5 cukes per plant if possible with good agricultural practice, variety is cu999.

we planted 5 satchets of 50 grams seed on February and harvested just 100 bags another rookie farmer planted 50 grams and harvested 104 bags,we realized that careful management is key to get most yield out of cucumbers,a well managed crop supposed to yield up to 10 fruits but we are been conservative to Target a yield of 5 cucumbers per crop which at 100 fruits per bag is roughly 100 bags×#7k,so you see quality management is key not clearing acres and hectares in the bush.

we used an empty space in our piggery farm measuring 90 feet in length and 48 ft in width,50 sacks per line by 20 lines which is 1000 sacks and two crops planted per sack totalling roughly 2000 crops,flowering and fruiting heavily,we will start smiling in 2 weeks time.

pointsett is one of the smallest cucumber varieties with marketer,market more and Mona Lisa,if you jam cu 999 or Murano 2 grown on a healthy crop you will bow,but well done you tried to nuture such a notoriously low disease resistance variety like pointsett to maturity,I doubted if you can pull it off,but you proved me wrong,kudos
