Saw a neatly used car (Honda civic) for sale recently, but d issue is there's no custom papers, seller said he misplaced it, but assures me there's no problem as he's driven it outside lag b4 n custom officers didn't stop him. I'm in a dilemma, advise pls; what are d implications of buying a car without custom papers? How much would it cost to process one?

Do NOT buy unless the seller can locate the papers or else your heart will skip a beat whenever you see customs men on the road when traveling.

customs didn't stop him does not mean the won't stop you, better safe than sorry
