Nigerian Politicians compared to British Politicians

The UK Government says it would never allow its people to be left destitute.

British Government just announced today that more than 8 million British households on the lowest income will each get £650 from the government to help them with rising energy (Gas and Electricity) bills and this will be funded by a 25% limited time surcharge on the "abnormal" profits of Oil and gas companies until their profits return to normal.

Today's announcements also says that British households in the “squeezed middle classes” will also receive financial help from the government to help alleviate the cost of living crisis.

The extra £650 per household announced today for the poorest British households is on top of the normal UK social security safety net where even if you are unemployed, the UK Government will pay your monthly house rent and also give you a feeding allowance of £77 per week until you get a job and the only thing they ask of you is to show them evidence every 2 weeks that you are looking for a job and regardless of whether you have ever worked or not in your life, once you reach pension age around 65 years, you get a minimum pension payment of £185 per week from the government and your rent is also paid until you die and this is all funded by Taxes and National insurance payments from those Brits who are working and British People are quite happy to pay taxes because they know that if they lose their jobs, they will not go hungry or homeless as there is that government safety net to prevent them from falling to rock bottom.

What struck me the most with the British Governments £650 per household announced today to help the poorest families cope with the increasing cost of living is that the British Minister of Finance said today that the current cost of living situation was "simply unacceptable" and that the UK Government would never allow people to be left destitute.

NIGERIAN POLITICIANS, OVER TO YOU.
