They said time is money, but this is a lie. Your life is an evolving manifestation of the present. When we look inward we found out that the spirit is eternal and every individual's soul form part of this eternity.
We have been deceived to believe that the present moment is of little value, the past is something we must not forget and the future is more important than both the past and present. This carries our attention away from what is happening now and export it it to a future that never come. We concentrate absolutely on what is to come instead of what is. Some people have been brainwashed such that they hardly see what they have at hand to appreciate God but continually pray and hope for what they may never have. So was the story of a blind beggar whose only inheritance from his late father was a small bench. Everyday, he will carry his bench and sit on a nearby road begging. But no one give this beggar even a dine. Day in day out this beggar will say all the necessary prayers, sit on his bench and beg but same result. So the beggar became offset and went to consult their Oracle to find out if the spirit of his late father was against him. To his greatest surprised, he found out that the bench he sit and beg was indeed made of gold. If only he has eyes to see, he wouldn't have gone begging because he has in his possession what can bring immense Wealth.
They want us to become blind like the beggar, to forget about today and think of tomorrow, not to recognize what we have so that they can remain in control. Forfeiting the present moment in order to fantasize the future is a trap.
If time is money then life can be measured in naira or dollars. When the naira is worth less, so is life. This is a lie because life is absolutely priceless.
Time is not money, time is your life. Live it now because life is happening now. The present is the only point in eternity that you can create an impact. Stop wasting your time on yesterday, it is history, stop putting so much of your energy on tomorrow it is a mystery, today is a gift from God. Let your today count.
