Conflicting media reports that Gov. Wike would support Atiku or Tinubu is a cause for concern.
It shows that Wike hasn't learned from his recent PDP failure.
Having been betrayed by Tambuwal, that failure should show Wike how the North are in politics. Make no mistake, what Tambuwal did, other mortherns would also do. Hence supporting Atiku is silly. Because Northerners like Atiku are for their region and would still use Wike and dump him again.

The same goes for Tinubu. Tinubu's real state Is Osun state, which voted against Wike. Tinubu is not from Lagos. He is originally from Osun. Hence Osun delegates betrayed Wike.

So any attempt by Wike to support Atiku or Tinubu is a gross error. He should focus on supporting Peter Obi for moral reasons. It is the turn of the SE and Wike should seek to make amends for his mistakes, rather than act grandoise again. He needs to reach out and support the SE massively, deploy his contact and structures for Peter Obi. That is the only path to redemption for Wike.

Obi is unlikely to win anything, no politician will invest in a platform that has 0.001% winning rate.
