If south east tagged Tinubu as their enemy or antagonist, what about pdp the south east is a known die hard member of pdp . If you afraid of north to ask for presidency slot in pdp then it will be better you allow Tinubu and south west to play their politics without unnecessary accusations, hatred , envy , jealous and bitterness . It was after 2015 alliance between Tinubu and others that hijacked power from pdp , before some politician in the south east decamped to the ruling party ,expect few ones like okorocha, ogbonnaya onu and ngige few other ones who happens to be party to the alliance. One advantage Northern Nigeria has always had over Southern Nigeria is that they are far more politically united. May be its their feudal system of doing things, may be its because they used to be one Region, while the South was three Regions

Whatever the reason, this has made it impossible for the South to ever produce the President of Nigeria. It was zoning that made it possible for the South West to produce the President in 1999. As things stand now, the North have no intention of ceding power to the South, and are likely to go for their "brother"

The South West, South East and South/South will always fight amongst themselves, share their votes, and produce nothing, while the North will give block votes to their "brother"

Without zoning, no Southerner has any chance of ever becoming President of Nigeria, ever again

With the official death of zoning, the 2023 election will be one of the most significant in Southern Nigerian political history.
It will possibly take decades to recover from this single political miscalculation.

The best southerners can do is to possibly reject quota system of governance especially in the educational sector.
