You are not creating jobs, yet you are taking food from your citizens without giving them an alternative means of survival, most of those bikes are on installment payment, I'm sure someone Somewhere is in trouble right now over this bike seizure and will be made to pay the full money even though it's not his fault.

The way Nigerian government destroys things they can't give or create baffles me. These could have been converted into mini tricycle pickups for goods transport, into ploughs, and so many more.

Whatever happens after this, the government deserves it.
If you stay around the affected areas, protect your lives and properties cause these bike people would be desperate and broke, an idle hand is a dangerous hand.

Not sure about who your demigod is, but i don't have one.

The were sometimes riding bikes for a living in addition to being lawless miscreants, encroachers on construction / vacant private property, violent (extremely violent ) individuals always ready to spark mob actions. Bike riders that will ride against you in traffic, damage your vehicle and instigate mob action. Have you seen where they park, block off roads and start to pray on fridays with no care as to who's ox is gored??

Take a sample of people that drive in lagos here and find out how many have had all sorts of run-ins with them. Look through past NL threads and see where these "bike riders" have taken on security operatives in lagos at different times. Look through the topics of a few weeks ago where they burned someone alive and put another in the hospital.

You can't claim to desire a SANE and LAW-ABIDING environment while expecting such a group of people to continue operating unchecked.

This is what happens when a poorly informed person is conscripted because of a person's political expediencies to govern a state.

Okada transport wouldn't exit if adequate provision for public transport was made by successive governments of Lagos State.
