wirinet:

If votes really matters in Nigeria the government would not dare to carry out such insensitive action one year to a general election.

The number of people that would be rendered helpless by this action runs into millions. From people that lease out bikes on hire purchase to jobless men using the okada business to feed their families.
There are better ways to gradually ease out okada business taking cognisance of the immediate social and economic impact.

Wetin u dey talk wey dey sweet you for mouth sef?
Is riding a bike on the highway a decent or safe job to you?
The risk is way too much, moreover it's mostly aboki people that have no value for life that do it.

And what's Sanwolu's biz with them especially when these people add virtually no value to Lagos state.

If their northern governors can ban them because bikes are not part of d means of transportation of a modern city, why should Lagos adopt them?

Must they live in Lagos?

And if you still think Sanwolu is unfair, kindly gather the bikers and create jobs for them as you're so kind.
Just pray they don't slit your throat the next day after a small argument.

Not really. Coexisting with a spiraling crime wave is. Sanctity of life and security,
(something APC and Buhari don't understand), is the primary preoccupation of government.

Nigeria is still far behind, crushing one bicycle at a time when there are crushers that can crush tens of bicycles if not hundreds at a time

Just imagine the ones wen get tracker.. Shey for instance like 6pices given to farmers of which d owners can track.. Forget this thing wen u dey yarn.

If the owners storm those farmers na kill straight.. Most especially make aboki discover him track him vehicle and na one farmer for osun state dey use am.. Na violence be that o.

So this is the best.

You sound a novice. And who told you the scrap cannot be remelted and moulded into other things?
Why do you think human scavengers go about collecting unwanted metal objects? You come to the public and mess yourself.

It's not about that.. There's like only 50 bad eggs out of a thousand eggs.. So what should they do.. The way most of you reason.. It's quite stupid tbh...

What they should have done bring in a better alternative to bikes that will span the whole areas of lagos where they are highly needed..

Na still another idiot say make them ban kekenapep.. Y'all are no different from Buhari

The same way they bring in their dead police force to take people's vehicles driving on the BRT lane on Eko Bridge.. They could've done that.. Its the simplest thing for them to have done.
Not ban bikes on streets or smaller roads that span 1 to 10km away.

Make una dey reason if una wan talk...
