2023 : YORUBA ARE SMART Yoruba used Igbo to their advantage. They deceived the Igbos in the name of "southern presidency". Both Igbo and Yoruba governors were shouting "southern presidency! southern presidency!". The North finally agreed to the southern presidency. While it is also known that it is the turn of the East, the yorubas have their hidden agenda of yorubanisation. Look at the people remaining on the list 1. Yemi Osinbajo (Yoruba) 2. Asiwaju Bola Tinubu (Yoruba) 3. Ibikunle Amosun (Yoruba) 4. Fayemi John Kayode (Yoruba) There are no elements of Igbo in both PDP and APC, and from all Indications, it is one of these Yoruba people that will win and rule Nigeria in the next 8 years. Since the return of the democracy, no tribe has ruled Nigeria more than the Yoruba. Obasanjo spent 8 years in power. The next Yoruba president will likely spend another 8 years making 16 years. After that, it will be the turn of the North, for another 8 years. In a nutshell, Igbo won't smell the presidency in the next 16 years because of the trust they put on Yoruba people. Meanwhile, Yoruba leaders are expected to meet today to select one of them. Igbo shine your eyes! Let's say No to one Nigeria! #ArewaRepublicNow !!! MyVILLAGEpeople: Good morning, you are derailing this thread, this is about APC delegates and from the position of things in APC, it's between ACN block and nPDP block, it has nothing to do with Igbos. Statutory delegates in APC has nothing to do with Igbos. Do your best and promote your preferred candidate, thank you and have a wonderful day. |

For those quick to call people names here and political neophytes, una dey make me laugh well well. Isn't it yet clear to you guys what game the North has set out to play here? To them and the South, they (the North) have fulfilled all righteousness and in the spirit of sportsmanship cum fostering unity, have ceded the Presidency to the South (abi no be so the Northern APC Governors claim with their resolution)? Now, ask yourselves this. Even without the fragmentation and crab-mentality among the entire Southern leaders, on a level playing field and with the history of the election numbers skewed deliberately to favour the North, who amongst these current pretenders to the throne would pull out the number to defeat an Atiku who has been precariously and finely positioned to be settled in the PDP to carry on and compliment on their agenda as usual. Most of you won't even see the game that was played to have the PDP conclude their primaries before the APC. The South who always believe in their follies of being very well read and smarter keep setting themselves up for cheap ridicule. Na the same oversabi and I too know make Professor dey answer yes sir to olodo and the South dey always end up as spokesperson to always bamboozle and terrorize their own people with convincing and insulting English. Shebi una go school and sabi speak grammar? Una go speak English tire. You all will soon understand that these people don't see any PDP or APC, all they know and see is a platform to achieving a goal. Even of Buhari hand-picked Amaechi, Osinbanjo, or Tinubu gets the ticket, trust me, the entire machinery of state is out there on the side to work and ensure that Atiku becomes the President of this country in 2023. Head or tail from the way it looks now, it's a win win for the North who has given the South a very interesting puzzle to solve. After all una no go fit open mouth say dem no give una chance to bring out Southern candidate...lol I repeat, the North is playing a mix of game of thrones and temple run here. 2 Likes 1 Share |

MANDIPUTIN: Why are you people always quick to blame Yorubas? Why not blame PDP which you have slaved for for over 20 years? Even when Ojukwu contested for president under APGA, you still voted massively for PDP. How is it now the fault of the Yorubas that your national party (PDP) has never fancied any of your sons strategic enough for retaining or reclaiming power? How is it also our fault that APC will never give the presidential slot to an Igbo man? Go and look at APC's performances at the 2015 and 2019 presidential elections in the East. Your region gave Buhari a really terrible score. How do you expect APC to now choose an Igbo man when they cannot even trust in the man to pull massive votes from his own region? As far as the APC is concerned, the South East is irrelevant. The APC does not expect much votes from that region, and they have even stopped trying. It is no one's fault that you failed to build bridges, or even to play politics with commonsense. The commonsense is that no region can win an election all by itself, not even the North, which is why Buhari lost elections 3 times despite being a popular Northern politician. But as soon as he joined forces with the SouthWest, he won 2015, despite pulling a meagre number of votes from the South East. The Igbos should learn that they cannot continue to distance themselves from the North. The North has the number that can make a lot of difference. Play your politics, reduce your open show of tribalism, and embrace all and sundry, and you will produce a president within 16 years. No one is to blame for your problem other than yourself. If PDP cannot give you a presidential ticket, despite having supported them massively on the national front, then don't expect APC to give you because you have never supported APC. Your region has always produced ridiculously poor results for APC. You don't deserve any tickets from them. 4 Likes |

One thing is certain: APC has f..ked up PDP people by PDP giving its presidential ticket to Atiku with the belief that Atiku coming from the north will beat whoever APC presents as its presidential candidate. The thought of another Fulani succeeding another Fulani as president of Nigeria is objectionable in most of Nigeria's voters. 1 Like |
