This thread was started to educate people about biogas technology.
With the rising cost of LPG cooking gas every day, we cannot just keep adjusting to this recurrent inflation.
It's time to start exploring cheaper and more sustainable alternatives.
And Biogas is top on my list!!

This is because biogas is not Just a free cooking gas, its adoption will go a long way in the fight against pollution and improper waste management in our society.

Yes because Biogas is generated from the decomposition of organic wastes such as food waste, rotten fruits and vegetables, animal wastes , garden wastes etc.

Instead of dumping these wastes on landfills where they decompose and emit harmful gases into our atmosphere contributing to climate change.

We can channel these waste aright by recycling them in our homes to generate cooking gas and organic fertilizer for our plants. A WIN WIN Technology!!

I'll be sharing facts surrounding biogas Technology on this thread and answering some of the frequently asked questions as well.

This is because, unlike fossil fuels, biogas is neither obtained from mining nor captured from geological deposits. It is naturally or biologically produced through anaerobic digestion of organic wastes.

According to the UN Secretary-General António, "Fossil fuels are a dead end and the only sustainable future for the planet is accelerating the energy transition.

The only sustainable future is a renewable one. We must end fossil fuel pollution and accelerate the renewable energy transition, before we incinerate our only home," Guterres said.

Question: Is biogas safe to use at home??

The Answer is [YES!!

While the term gas can be pretty scary, especially when considering putting something right next to your house, our Home Biogas solution is completely safe for domestic use. Many people hear the word gas and associate it with highly explosive substances—and rightfully so. The reality is that the biogas produced in Home Biogas systems is actually much safer than your current LPG or propane gas tank for several reasons:
Biogas is an uncompressed low-pressured gas, Methane needs a concentration of 50% to be flammable. The moment Biogas hits the air, it's methane component quickly disperses and loses concentration, rendering it completely nonflammable, hence there's little or no chance of gas explosion with biogas unlike LPG.
