Tinubu might win this primaries.

It's now I understand why Buhari wanted a consensus candidate. But since the north have resorted to backing a southern candidate tinubu might just win it.

But looking at it from another angle and knowing the north to always support their own, they might just allow tinubu win it, then rally behind Atiku and give him the presidency.

Cos there's no way the north would vote tinubu over Atiku in 2023. And tinubu would even struggle for votes in the South cos aside the SW, no other Southern zone is solidly behind him.

Even Kwankwaso sef that has a massive followership, don't be surprised if he steps down for Atiku few days to the election. Tambuwal did it on the day of the primary election. So anything is possible.

What I know is that whatever tactics the north are employing in this primaries, it's to ensure that a northerner ends up in Aso Rock come 2023 regardless of his party.

We Southerners aren't wise.

He will become useless or run back to his church.

Actually, he has nothing to lose. He has already reached the second highest office you can have in Nigeria. If he misses it for a southern president (Tinubu likely) he wont be president in the next 16 years cos it will go back to north. When it comes back to the south, he'll be too old and most likely nobody will be considering a Yoruba president again.

Eight years as vice president is a great feat, if he loses out tonight he would gladly congratulate the winner and take a bow. The pulpit is always there to return to

Where else is he sojourning to in Nigerian politics? After being the VP, what else would he want to aspire for again other than the office of the President he is presently vying for?

If he lose today, he can't contest anymore. And same applies to Tinubu and all the other major aspirants from the Southern Nigeria. If they lose today, they will have to wait for another 16 years.

Nothing... At least it won't be as bad as if/when Tinubu loses

What was he doing before being called to elective office? He had a successful legal practice. He will go back to that.

Many people do not have something to fall back on so they keep going from one public office to another.

Win or loose, He has attained a position Tinubu will never reach politically till He meets He maker.
