I have been saved from danger many times but this is one of the ones standing out.
Just wanna share this to appreciate God and for you guys to catch fun.

I was an HND student and I went home to get some change. My parents house was in the same town as my school. So this day it just finished raining and I took the last bus that will drive into the campus.
In the bus were other students. It was not the GSM time so we were not aware that there had just been some fracas between rival cults and the school looked deserted. Every student locked themselves up in their rooms. When the bus entered the campus, the southern side was still bubbling with people moving around but the Northern side which was my area of residence was like a ghost town.
When we got to the North as we called it, I thought it was because of the rain that had just stopped that the campus was deserted. No single person walking or hanging around. The other passengers must have thought the same. We got down and went our different ways.

It was around seven or seven thirty pm. I felt like I would not be able to cook again so I headed for a restaurant within the school by the name Top Class restaurant.
It was my usual place of eating.
Before one wld reach there, you would have to pass through a place called Abẹ Igi (Under the trees). There were big trees planted there for shade from the sun and students were found of the place for relaxation.
Afar off, I saw a circle of guys singing in an unknown tongues. They must be up to 30 or more.
Actually, I thought they were Kegites so I felt save to walk past them.
It was dark and it had just rained therefore, there was a big pothole on the foot path full of water so I had to leave the road and walk close to the circle of the guys singing. I was so close to them that if I stretched my hand I could touch the closest person.
They continued singing in strange language.
I walked past and navigated towards Top Class. As I got closer to the restaurant, I discovered the doors and windows were close. "Why did madam close so early" I asked myself.
I got to the door and through a tiny space I could see a sign of light ( lantern or candle) I knocked and there was no answer. "Madam, madam" I called and there was no answer so I turned to leave. As I took two steps the woman called my name. She recognized my voice. I turned and I said yes it's me.
"Why did you close so early?" I asked behind the door.
She knows me to be a quiet guy, an easy going fellow so. She asked
"Se ẹyin nìkan ni?" (Are you alone?) And I said yes. I was still wondering what was wrong when she opened the door gently and said in a low voice "Ẹ Tete wole" (Enter quickly!" Haahaa ! I wondered.

"What happened?" I asked as I entered and she quickly shut the door. grin

"Were you not in school?" She asked.

As I looked around the shop and saw three other guys sitting looking terrified and an elderly person who must be a lecturer eating.
"I am just coming from the town" I answered.
"Haa no wonder! " She said.
"There has been serious fight among cults since evening" she added.
"Where did you pass?" She asked
"Abẹ Igi" I answered.
"Haaaaa! " All of them in the shop chorused.

"Didn't you see some people there?" She asked while serving me food.

"I thought they were Kegites" I replied.

"Noo they just chased a guy that passed there to this place striking him" the woman said. "You are lucky"

That was when I started to fear. How do I go back to the room? I lived in one of the boys quarters and I would need to walk through the bush to get there. I panicked.

The elderly guy eating faced all of us and said. "When I finish eating you can follow me. No problem"
I breathed a breath of ease.
At least we've got "Vandame" that will lead us.
I rushed my food and the four of us followed the man out but we did not pass through the Abẹ Igi . We took another route and everyone went their separate ways at a point.
Where madame Top Class slept I don't know as I even forgot to ask her later.

God has a way of saving His children.
Either He made me invisible to the cult group or He allowed a classmate or someone who knows me to sight me and say "Na my guy , na my guy free him"

Which ever way, I give thanks to God for saving me. I could have died or be carrying some horrible marks on my handsome face. grin

Good is God truly.

I have got more testimonies.
Plenty.grin

Why I no fit differentiate Kegites from Cult gyration be say I no dey familiar to both of them. I only Kno say Kegites dey gyrate I no know say cultists too dey do am.

And well may be Dem no get my time as you say . But why did they get time for other people they chased and attacked?

It all still boils down to God my broda. My dad and mum were prayer warriors. And I too dey manage dat time to be a good boy. grin
