Exactly, the local content is indeed to give indigenious company an edge over the foreign ones, BUT, a VERY BIG BUT!!!

see many of this foreign companies still taking all the jobs and bringing their peeps to work here in Nigeria, and WHY? if you my ask,

Some of our so called indigenious company, either lack the technical competence to proceed with this job or the Nigerian factor is rearing its head again, And what do i mean by the NIgerian factor?

whereby an indigenous company is floated by some influential cabals, they get the contract and call in a foreign firm that will execute this contract at a fee, and they collect their profit, even before any job is carried out and guess who suffers at the end?
