How Could I Forget Those Tears? by Francis21Xavier(m): 9:34am On Jun 11, 2022
All I want is take the pains off me,
All I want is to be free.

Here I am, in the street drinking trying to drown my past,
and those painful memories making me feel like an outcast.
Spark up my lighter, praying my pains burns like the weed.
Crying in public unnoticed guess pains is death indeed.
Always out of home, cause what I felt there was death.
9 years me feeling pains like I'm going through child birth.
Seeing mama pasted like a wallpaper crying by 2am,
I can never get used to those feelings cause I hated them.
I mean brushing the tears but they kept flowing in pairs,
Yea, mama I'm grown but how could I forget those tears?!
Which broke me emotionally swore never to make a lady cry,
Only to get cracked like a joke wearing a crocked smile.
Tired of the pains so I chose a boarding school on purpose,
Praying we get no breaks praying school don’t close,
But quicker than I expected I graduated from college,
Ran into the university cause I never had the courage.
To address my demons but now I'm putting them to sleep,
But still duck your calls cause they make me weep.
Cause you keep telling me I've forgotten you, mama how could I?!
Don't you see I'm running from pains cause my eyes are tired to cry?!
From the pains you wear me like a coat of many colors,
Unable to rip it off guess pains are buried tumors.
I look at my friends like why are there families happy and mine isn't?
Pass me a bottle of MAC DOWELL let me drown this shit.

But

Why can't I say how I feel?
Quit playing tough like I'm made of steel.
Telling mama, hey lady, you're hurting me,
I'm too young for the pains can't you see?.

Mama please take the pains off me,
Mama I want is to be free.
