People cannot remember NRC campaign advert except Nduka Obaigbena the owner of Thisday Newspapers and Arise TV. Architect Tom Ikimi might also remember. These two men were very strong on the opposition to MKO Abiola's presidency being key members of Tofa's team.

Arise TV was very prominent during the EndSars saga when Tinubu media companies and Lagos State Properties damaged.

It was because of Abiola's travails I don't read Thisday or watch programs on Arise TV. I was even told Reuben Abati is anchoring a program on Arise TV where one Abiola's daughter is a panel member.

Thisday should have a copy of the NRC (Tofa) Campaign advert. MKO Campaign advert was an Anthem in those days.

Finally, nobody is talking about Abiola's Reparation Crusade.

Thanks for this. However, the Abiola second advert is what I actually want to store. I had a neighbour then that his family happened to belong to NRC. I will try to trace him.

Ain't it a shame that 30yrs later politicians are still campaigning on the same issues? 30yrs later still no light, very exorbitant prices of petroleum products despite being one of the top producers of the raw material in the world, corruption, a near collapsed currency etc. In fact Nigeria has gotten progressively worse and we the citizens are stuck in a rut.
