I pray every day. But in the way you meant it, I take time off to 'seriously' pray - and that was last weekend. The reasons were many, but it was more about the concerns of others.

kai, i wont lie o, i hardly pray, but one time i prayed serious prayer was last week wen water got into my monitor and it didnbt work, lol see prayer, after drying sha, the shege came on

try praying everyday and see the diferent, because I do, and am very happy.

AS A CHRISTIAN THEIR NO SPECIFY FIXED TIME FOR PRAYER .

Today

every time I need help, advice, a shoulder to cry on, someone to vent to, to ask for healing for myself/friends/family. It's not something I do on a "need to need" basis. I "pray" not always just to ask for a favor/blessings. I pray because God is a friend all ways there for us in times of happiness, distress, joyfulness. He is always there so I talk to him whenever I feel like talking.

A dear friend gave me a gold-plated souvenir which now sits on my office desk with the following encouraging words on prayer. They were arranged in the acronym of PURPLE:

                    Let's [b]P[/b]ray.

                  - with Understanding. .

                  - with [b]L[/b]ove. .

                  - with [b]E[/b]ndurance. .

Luke 18:1 -- "And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint"

Praying is something that not many people today find refreshing and natural in the Christian lives. What hinders your prayers? Are you encouraged to find prayer a very refreshing lifestyle; or you need to rediscover it in your life?
