I did my NYSC in Kwara state and was always having a stop over at Ekiti...

I think they will stop you at Uselu park, that's where they normally have cars/bus going to the western part of Nigeria.

If they stop you there, you can enter bus from there, it is a straight road to First East Circular road...

As per light, if you leave in town, you're bound to have light for like 14 to 18 hours per 24 hours but, if you leave at Ikpoba Hill, it is 7 hours in 24 hours

There is too much hold up in Ikpoba Hill, so I'll advise you not to reason Ikpoba Hill at all

The security is quiet okay

As per food, cook food dey cheap for Benin but raw food dey cost because all the trader belong to various union

I hope you enjoy your stay

As per jobs, there are more in Sapele Road

Yes it is. That’s the industrial part of Benin.

Are there any affordable hotels around there. I don't really have a place to stay?

There are. It isn’t really the posh part of Benin. There’s hotel philomena and others. You can even stay at Pleasant hill (former Edo delta hotel) and stroll to work in the morning.
