poiZon:. Senator OBA &Onofiok Luke withdrew before the primaries writing officially to the chairman of AKS PDP, after siting Court order of Maintaining Status Quo Ante Bellum The vote you saw OBA had was to make jest of him, appearing as if he stood the primaries, there is nowhere Pastor Umo Eno would have defeated Senator OBA, Rt. Hon Onofiok Luke, Mr. Akan Okon, Rt.Hin. Mike Enyong &others on a free and fair contest devoid of influence from the Governor or the party hierarchy. The primaries was influenced by the Governor &he closedly monitored it. This impunity is what is affecting the AKS PDP today. |

garfield1:Those thugs are not only controlled by Oba n onofiok.. Also nelson effiong was the first senator to defect to Apc in akwaibom unless u r talking about another nelson effiong aka tabasco. The 2 popular guys aggrieved in pdp r from Uyo senatorial district. I'm not hearing any aggrieved persons from ikot ekpene and eket senatorial district. I'm from ikono, our axis is 100% loyal to pdp.. Apc will have a hard time to grind votes there. Akan udofia might be popular but i don't see whose structure he will ride to victory.. Akpabio structures is still loyal to pdp, from enoidem to aniekan umana down to eket zone.. Are those guys aggrieved? All the representatives have been returned, except mccaire that completed ikono'sturn. Heard Gloria edet is a force in ini lga cos she carries her people along. |

garfield1:. Likewise me, but he has his reasons, maybe Senator Ifeanyi Uba of YPP his colleague at the Senate who is also the National political leader of the party may have influenced his decisions, again Apostle Yeneime Andy the state chairman of the Party who is also the current Governorship Candidate of YPP is a close pal to the Distinguished Senator OBA. Or maybe Onofiok Luke had already shown interest to join Labour party earlier, you know Peter Obi has given Labour party a new face. |

Re: APC Has No Governorship Candidate In Akwa Ibom - INEC Insists by saintkeppy(m): 2:07pm On Jun 17, 2022 |
poiZon:. He is joining soon, there is still time to substitute names or name replacement as enshrine in the electoral law, he will make it known to you &other members of the public soon via public declaration. He is putting some workable strategies on ground to kick-start his new sojourn in the new Party, of course he said it on Air, that he will definitely be on the ballot. |

poiZon: Oba and Luke have more boys than anybody.even akpabio depended on them.udom is too small to impose someone on Ibibio people.let the ibibios themselves decide.ikono is under ikot ekpene zone though still Ibibio...even Ephraim inyang is angry |

fergie001:. Good explanations, you see, the Law is funny at times, i implore those that wants to contest should study the Constitution, Party guildlines, Electoral Laws etc to be properly guided, & hire a Lawyer to interpret it for clarity sake, the day I realize that Chief Chris Ngige is not a former Governor of Anambra State in the eyes of the Law i just weak, dont joke with the LAW. Nigige after spending three years on seat Was termed to have been on a stolen Mandate. Supreme court ruled Mr. Peter Obi as Governor, after a protracted Legal tussle. That guy arguing, is he not in this country, where elected Governors &other elected politicians under the supervision of INEC gets upturn by court ruling?? 1 Like 1 Share |

poiZon:. funny dude, you wan chop him money or you want him as your next Governor?? Which one? Electoral Law allows that, but the Party &the ticket holder will have to write officially to INEC stating reasons why he or she needs or wants to be replaced or substituted. INEC will acknowledge it &do the needful within time frame. I think section 31 &33 of the electoral law, takes care of that, even a candidate who has died before election can be replaced. |

fergie001:. Yes the court has final say. Time bomb for PDP, in what way? Or is it the ad-hoc delegates issues? |
Re: APC Has No Governorship Candidate In Akwa Ibom - INEC Insists by fergie001: 3:32pm On Jun 17, 2022 |
saintkeppy:Both the adhoc delegates issue and the Akan Okon issues. |
Re: APC Has No Governorship Candidate In Akwa Ibom - INEC Insists by saintkeppy(m): 3:33pm On Jun 17, 2022 |
fergie001:. State High Court is the same thing as Akwa Ibom State High Court, I think you were referring to a branch of Federal High Court, here in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State |
Re: APC Has No Governorship Candidate In Akwa Ibom - INEC Insists by fergie001: 3:35pm On Jun 17, 2022 |
saintkeppy:Even with the rule, we have seen the State High Courts in Abia and Edo get away with that. So, what I meant was that even if Akpabio wants to play some hanky-panky, he can only do that at the AKS High Court, he won't go close to the FHC, he will lose flatly there. |
Re: APC Has No Governorship Candidate In Akwa Ibom - INEC Insists by saintkeppy(m): 3:37pm On Jun 17, 2022 |

Re: APC Has No Governorship Candidate In Akwa Ibom - INEC Insists by fergie001: 3:39pm On Jun 17, 2022 |
saintkeppy:Both will definitely climb to the SC but I think the WAEC own will be more difficult because Akan is an insider. |
Re: APC Has No Governorship Candidate In Akwa Ibom - INEC Insists by saintkeppy(m): 3:48pm On Jun 17, 2022 |
fergie001:. that WAEC issue as reported has weaken Umo Eno's camp, as reported, the Governor felt so embarrassed, that a couple of meetings was held with Akan Okon to shelve his guber ambition &support his preferred, promising him SSG in the next Administration which Mr. Akan Okon agreed but he still stood in the primaries, only for him to come up with this WAEC Cert scandal on Umo Eno, asking the court to declare him winner of the primaries having came 2nd with only 3votes. it's now left for Pastor Umo Eno to defend himself next week at the FHC sitting in Uyo. But judgement on the Cert can be dispensed immediately without going to SC if Pastor Umo Eno is found wanting. |
Re: APC Has No Governorship Candidate In Akwa Ibom - INEC Insists by fergie001: 3:53pm On Jun 17, 2022 |
saintkeppy:It was discovered when he was nominated as Commissioner but the Assembly members protected Umo. So, nothing is more dangerous than an insider who know it all. The lawyers will be preparing technicalities now! |
Re: APC Has No Governorship Candidate In Akwa Ibom - INEC Insists by garfield1: 4:18pm On Jun 17, 2022 |
fergie001: No technicalities can protect one except waec testimony.if waec says its forged its over |

fergie001: Udom can still substitute the guy before its late.I heard lawan defected |
Re: APC Has No Governorship Candidate In Akwa Ibom - INEC Insists by fergie001: 4:35pm On Jun 17, 2022 |
garfield1:Lawan's defection is a rumour. He can only be substituted with Akan Okon. Only those who participated in the first one can compete in the second... Date for Primary is done, Okon came second. |

Re: APC Has No Governorship Candidate In Akwa Ibom - INEC Insists by saintkeppy(m): 4:43pm On Jun 17, 2022 |
fergie001:. Exactly, I told you here that the AKHA panel members that screened him might have known this during his Commissionership screening, but since the Governor wanted him ASAP to resume duties as Commissioner of Lands &Water Resources, he was let go by taking a bow. The AKHA panel members may have hinted Mr. Akan Okon as an insider to use that against him in court, I still say it here, not all AKHA members are in tandem with the Governor's succession plan. Some of them have quietly picked up forms from other unpopular parties to contest in a bid to return back to the house or something higher like NASS, especially those who were disenfranchised. I was told allegedly the Governorship screening committee in Port Harcourt noticed it, but maybe he was cleared based on Governor Udom's influence, after he wasn't cleared the first day he went for clearance. It took him time, a couple days but he was finally cleared. Mr. Akan Okon has told the court that he was erroneously cleared during that exercise in Port Harcourt. Some say the Cert has no security features expected of an Original Cert. WAEC as an examination body will have to come out to testify in court if need be, about the certificate in question, if it is forged or not before the honourable court. As for date of birth, that can be settled if he has an affidavit where he sworn to in a high court stating an exact date he was born. There are many Nigerians with inconsistencies in date of birth. |
Re: APC Has No Governorship Candidate In Akwa Ibom - INEC Insists by garfield1: 4:46pm On Jun 17, 2022 |
fergie001: I understand.akan is forcing the govs hand.I thought if a candidate withdraws or dies, they must be a new primary |
Re: APC Has No Governorship Candidate In Akwa Ibom - INEC Insists by saintkeppy(m): 4:52pm On Jun 17, 2022 |
garfield1:. Mr. Akan Okon will be the only option for Gov. Udom if the case doesn't go in Pastor Umo Eno's favour. He came 2nd in the primaries with just 3votes, but if Mr. Akan Okon emerges, he still has the ad-hoc delegates issues to face till the end of the matter. |
Re: APC Has No Governorship Candidate In Akwa Ibom - INEC Insists by saintkeppy(m): 4:55pm On Jun 17, 2022 |
garfield1:. No new primaries, Windows for primaries for political parties have since closed on June 9th, 2022. This time is for name substitution/replacement like football as well as presentation of running mates. |
Re: APC Has No Governorship Candidate In Akwa Ibom - INEC Insists by fergie001: 5:05pm On Jun 17, 2022 |
garfield1: Just saw something in the EA 2022, there will be another Primary with conditions. There will be a fresh Primary, only if it is done not lesser than 90 days to the election. You cannot withdraw once it's past 90 days to the election unless the in the eventuality of death. |
