Majority of Nigerians will prefer to vote for an incompetent candidate from his/her tribe or religion and suffer the consequences than to vote for a competent candidate who is not from his/her tribe or religion who can turn things around for betterment of Nigerians.

Let's take tribe and religion aside and vote OBIdiently

Why must it be your Igbo candidate?

Are there no other credible upright Nigerians outside Igbo land?

I for one is not opposed to Obi as a candidate but you Igbos have only fallen to him as your last hope after your hopes of an Igbo presidency/VP was dashed by both the APC and PDP.

Obi left the PDP out of protest that he will not be getting the ticket.

Nigerians are right to be weary of your "competent" Igbo leadership as seen from independence which will later quickly become an Igbocentric one.

From Igbo competency claims we got Igbo arrogating tribal govt .

This is what no one will want to see repeated.

Peter Obi left PDP because he's not willing to fight dirty with do or die politicians. The primary election was massively dollarized and Obi isn't willing to bribe any delegate. PDP would have offered him VP on a platter of gold if he had remained with them.

APC and PDP candidates in the forthcoming election has spent nothing less than N5bn each in other to buy the party ticket.

Obi is not desperate to become president thats why he didn't tow that path.

Even if he lose the election, he has nothing to lose. The man is already made. He's a billionaire who can comfortably relocate to any country of the world.

We don't need his likes.

We want people who have everything to lose in this election as Nigeria is fast going down the drain.

If your Obi has an option of relocating after losing then he is not of the same cloth like Atiku who never left after losing out since 2007.
We need people who are invested and ready to stay and fight to better Nigeria.

Your obi won't be missed with his stinginess.

Atiku has been contesting since 1993 and still contesting after 30 years because he saw politics as a do or die affair.

Buhari that has been hungry for power has contested, won and left the country in a total mess.

Obi is not desperate like others,. He's only desperate to see Nigeria work.

Yes He's stingy with his money and not yours.

Have you seen any court of law that convicts an ex governor that was called stingy because he refused to share public funds?

Atiku has never contested any election result apart from the obviously rigged 2019 elections.

Atiku has always congratulated all other opponents since 2007.

FYI, he only began contesting for the presidency in 2007 and not 1993 as you claimed.

Your Obi got into govt office on a supreme court ruling and went to court in protest of accepting the results.

It is your same Obi who saw that he will not be getting anything from the PDP that left the party purely for his own selfish ambition.

Now tell me who is more desperate?

As I said earlier, you Igbos have made Obi's campaign a tribal issue and Obi your tribal champion.

This will not go down well.

Atiku has never made his campaign now or in the past a northern agenda and that was why the same north rallied round Buhari in the APC primaries against Atiku.

As things stand now, Obi and Tinubu are tribal champions just like Kwankwaso. Only Atiku is campaigning on universal grounds and his support base attests to that as it cuts across all nationalities in Nigeria.

Kwankwaso - north
Obi - SE
Tinubu - SW

It is only Atiku that has strong support in all regions in Nigeria especially in the middle belt , SS and north.

As things stand out, Tinubu and Obi will win their regions massively . Atiku will pitch it out in a 50-50 contest in the north with Kwankwaso but same Atiku will win the ND hands down and the highly deciding MB votes.

My only concern is that there maybe reasons to do a recall in both the SW and SE if Atiku does not get the minimum required votes to clinch the presidency. It is from there we will see you Okoros calling for annulment of the elections just as you did in 1993.

Atiku contested the 1993 SDP Presidential primary election and lost to Abiola.

He was a presidential candidate of the Action Congress in the 2007 presidential election coming in third to Umaru Yar’Adua of the PDP and Muhammadu Buhari of the ANPP.

He contested the presidential primaries of the People’s Democratic Party during the 2011 presidential election losing out to Goodluck Jonathan.

In 2014, he joined the All Progressives Congress ahead of the 2015 presidential election and contested the presidential primaries losing to Muhammadu Buhari.

In 2017, he returned to the Peoples Democratic Party and was the party presidential candidate during the 2019 presidential election, again losing to incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari.

From 1993 till date Atiku has been jumping from one party to another, contesting and loosing.

This was the same way Buhari was contesting and losing until he eventually won and left
the country in a total mess.

Atiku has nothing to offer Nigerians he should retire and support the younger generation.

Peter Obi is not a desperate politician, He's only desperate to see Nigeria work.
