What happened is gtb updated their app. The new app backend is broken. I had to wait until 11pm for a response. On top of that the otp started failing. They have taken their new app down from the appstore. I had to download the old version from my phone backup. The old version is working fine.

Serious eff up

Not sure he will come home rich. Any money he stashed with family or friends will be gone in 8 years. We see it happen to Nigerians who send money home to build house etc. Family fk them over. Now an actual criminal who is on ice for 8 years. Unless he had money in Bahamas or places like that. Which I doubt because he is a flossing criminal, not a smart one.

It is a guy like invictus who may have properly stashed his money away. Though I suspect the feds will be watching them after they get out to see what they do.

lol. Someone had 1,500 bitcoins and you think he stashed everything with friends and family. So far he's in Crypto, there are multiple ways he would have hidden his stash

Lmao Moriah Mills Don see say Zion Williamson is airing her, and she's now accused him of DV and maybe even SA, and hush money payments.

LMAO.

The two screenshots under this post are unrelated, but see how conversation changes from asking for money to threatening to accuse the dude of SA.

As long as this thing remains like this, I'm sorry, I will take every case I hear with a huge bag of salt.

We have two 'feminists' that regularly constitute a nuisance on this thread. Intolerant, binary minded, chip on their shoulder, unable to engage in polite discource, constantly looking for a fight, better suited to being locked in threads fighting their mirror image red pillers

And only concerned with online victories.

That about sums up the obvious answer to an obvious question.

You have said it all !

So it's fair to say that you all wrongly classify feminists as "bitter" people.
It's fair to say many of you don't even understand the meaning of that word, just like many don't understand the meaning of the word "woke" but throw these words around casually and in a denigrating manner.

Ignorance should not be celebrated.

Learn more on concepts of issues before applying their usage.

Feminism is inherently a good thing.

Being "woke" is inherently a good thing. These are both social justice issues aimed at addressing systemic injustices against disadvantaged groups. If you don't understand these concepts but you are denigrating them, then you need to check yourself.

If you do understand these concepts and you are against them, you also need to check yourself and your ideals. You are part of a problem in the society.

I saw your screenshots and the bolded. That was before not now. Woke has taken a different dimension.

This woke people want to turn our world upside down. Are you comfortable with the madness that's going on in the society? Our old traditional values are being eroded by this woke nonsense.

Awaken to the nonsense that men with joysticks can identify as women and compete with biological women in their own sports making it even more difficult for biological women to win medal?

Awaken to the nonsense that school children are taught to embrace transgender and sometimes sef are even being encouraged to transgender.

A US judge can't define a woman because she is afraid of being cancelled by woke people.

Just the other day, they are thinking of calling vagina bonus hole just not to offend some certain people. What nonsense.

When I used the word WOKE, this is what I meant and I am not referring to you.
Woke people are people with crazy thinking, psychological disorders. Someone said wokeism is a disease and I agree.

Furthermore, be careful with this your feminism stuff. Women are very wise and cunning. Someone said Feminist women are two edged sword. They are simultaneously VICTIM and EMPOWERED. Until something happens, then she chooses which state benefits her the most.

Of Mákànjẹ̀ and Spiritism

Perhaps you have heard of the charmed blade and arrow called mákànjẹ̀ (mustn't cut deep into the blood). Don't be foolish enough to stake your 2 million naira on it that it is not true. But just as some modernists in African studies maintained, mákànjẹ̀ works as a result of phytochemistry (science) rather than spiritism.

Fact of the matter is that the blade or arrow is dipped in a poison extracted from Antiaris toxicaria or other poisonous plants.

According to IITA, common names of the plant include: False Iroko (English), Ooro (Yoruba), Ogi-ovu (Edo), Ebongo (Lakole), Ajiawu (Igbo), Farin loko (Hausa).

Antiaris has a remarkably wide distribution in tropical regions, occurring in Australia, tropical Asia, tropical Africa, Indonesia, the Philippines, Tonga, and various other tropical islands.

So, when you see bronze images of Benin warriors decked in Iron plated war wear and àkún beads covering their neck, it is natural to suspect that such might have evolved as anti-poisoned-arrow technology.

Just imagine a society full of different poisons of different havoc at the reach of everybody, what do you think could arrest the mind of evil ones not to use it on perceived enemies? Every little infraction becomes justification for unleashing your own poison.

This was not an African thing alone, this was how indigenous societies lived including Europe, Asia, America, Australia and India. A "poison regulated human interaction" if I can use that. These are my opinions.

Generally, what Africans call juju is science at work. There's nothing spiritual about these things at all, but people that know some secrets of nature (such the priests/babalawos, pastors, alfas) love deceiving others that one juju or other is spiritual.

Yet, the secrets these priests know about what they call juju are scientific in nature. One key reason why Africa has failed to develop is these prevalent superstitious beliefs about juju, god/God, etc.

These beliefs don't make people think critically and limit the development of science and technology in this part of the world.

Only bigots hate the term "Woke" and "Feminism". Woke" originally meant being aware of inequality, injustice, racism, and other systemic problems in society, as in you're not "sleeping" and unaware of them. It originated particularly in regards to systemic racism, but has expanded to include awareness of other issues.

Conservative media and some ignorant Africans have taken "woke" and tried to turn it into a bad word, similar to "liberal", "socialism", "communism", and so on. They label anything they don't like as "woke" in order to slander it. If you ask most conservatives and clueless men here what "woke" actually means, they can't define it.

Maybe the CPS wanted to show they took rape seriously and him being a public figure will serve as an example. One thing am sure of is that CPS won't take a rape case to court unless they are certain they had enough evidence for a conviction reason why they didn't take greenwood to court because no witness came up despite having video and pictorial evidence.

Most of you are using the word consensual loosely. Do you believe an individual can't be coerced into consensual sex ?

Honestly man.

They want to widen the tax net...they are adding more taxes on every little purchase we make.

These taxes are supposed to earn more money for the govt to tackle every financial needs to provide basic amenities etc. But what do we have in Nigeria? A situation whereby whatever money piled up the govt coffers is being distributed and greedily squandered by those fraudulently elected...leaving the tax payers suffering.

With the level of kleptocracy in our system, nobody should even pay any tax.

Look at the situation of things. The masses need to sacrifice and hope that things get better tomorrow because we want the govt to save and raise some huge sum, which we are now witnessing how they are making good use of the proceeds of our sacrifices by allocating humongous millions to the elected members to alleviate the effect of the subsidy removal..smh.

Subsidy removal affected the poor masses the most...but the effect is being cushioned for the elites through the poors' sacrifices.

What a country.
